Jun 16-17: Kingdom Days
Celebrate Breckenridge’s heritage during the fifth annual Kingdom Days. Celebrate 153 years of Breckenridge’s diverse history with mining, exploration and adventure. Founded in 1859, Breckenridge was inadvertently excluded from some copies of the U.S. maps, becoming known as “Colorado’s Kingdom” until 1936 when it finally became incorporated. For an entire weekend, this real town turns upside down to pay tribute to gold fields and mining, exploration and adventure, brothels and saloons, booms and busts.
July 4: Breckenridge 4th of July Celebration
There’s no place better to view fireworks than at 9600 ft! Come celebrate with us on Wednesday, July 4, 2012.

July 5-8 Bike Week
Breck Bike Week offers led group rides, bike-in movie nights, nutrition, fitness and open space best practices lectures, bike fits, kids’ races, Tour de France viewing parties, high-end bike demos and more. The bonus is that all Breck Bike Week activities are FREE and open to everyone.
September 14-16 Breck Oktoberfest
Breckenridge’s 18th annual Oktoberfest, September 14-16, 2012, includes a fun-filled weekend of fall foliage, great parties, Paulaner Bier, genuine German cuisine, collectable steins and special accommodation packages. Don’t miss the largest Oktoberfest in the Rocky Mountains
