It’s closer than you think–Black Hawk casinos are located about an hour away from Keystone.  The Riviera and the Isle of Capri Casino & Hotel are among the first you’ll run into.  You’ll also see Colorado Central Station, The Lodge Casino, Black Hawk Casino by Hyatt & the Mardi Gras Casino. There are a number of historic buildings that have been restored and have limited stakes gambling inside! There are a variety of games to be played. Currently, Colorado offers poker, blackjack, slots, roulette and craps, with a limit of $100. The gaming laws in Colorado were changed in July 2009, bringing the betting maximum from $5 to $100 and roulette and craps were added to the roster at that time. Keystone Transportation Shuttle Service is able to take guests to Black Hawk from Keystone and back again, and the cost varies from the number of people, time, date, type of shuttle and other factors.  Taxis are also available.   Keep in mind that many of the casinos offer free valet service!  The Black Hawk Casinos are just off I-70. To access this from Keystone, take Highway 6 to I-70 and go east towards Denver. Take the Highway 6 exit (in Denver) and turn left onto CO-119. From here turn left onto Main Street. There are two “main” sections of town with a few casinos on the outskirts.
