To get there from the Summit Cove office in Keystone take Highway 6 West 7.8 miles until you take a right (just past I70) at Rainbow Drive/Tanglewood Ln which you follow for about a mile. Silverthorne Rec Center will be on your right.

CHILD CARE
Kids Korner – Fees & Hours
- Supervised care for 6 months to 6 years while parents/guardian are using the Recreation Center. Kids Korner is first come, first served and has a limit of 2 hours per visit.
- Pass Holders – $4.50/hour/child if paying daily drop-in fee with cash or check.
- Non-pass holders – $5.50/hour/child if paying daily drop-in fee with cash or check.
- Punch Card – 10 hours (1 hour free) PH: $32.50 NPH: $41.75

What can we do when we get there?
Work Out
Try the walking/running track, the free weight room(Guests must be 18 or older to use this area), the cardiovascular center (fully equipped with treadmills, stairmasters, elliptical trainers, rowing machines, SCIFit 1000 upper body ergometer, upright and recumbent bicycles as well as total body weight machines and a gravitron machine) the racquetball courts (Racquetball Court Reservations – 2$/person/hour -Call 970-262-7370), gymnasium and the aquatic center.
A daily pass to the facility also gives you full the fitness classes offered like yoga, Pilates, kickboxing, cycling and more!

Swim
The Silverthorne Recreation Center Aquatic Center offers three pools for your family to enjoy including a slide pool, a deep pool and a play pool with child’s whale slide and whirlpool which is idea for little swimmers and non-swimmers alike. There is also a hot tub for everyone to enjoy.
Play
If you’re looking for a little friendly competition, join a pick-up game of soccer, basketball or volleyball. The adult drop-in sports are for high school aged players and up. Drop-In sports are free, with a valid recreation center pass or daily admission.

Relax
It’s not a question of IF you should get a massage…it’s a question of which kind??? The rec center offers Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports and Aromatherapy massages in 30($40), 60($65), 75($75) and 90($95) minute sessions.
Kids Klub Classes
Tiny Tots: designed for children between the ages of 3-5. These classes include art, music, dance, and play. Children should be toilet trained, if not, parents are welcome to attend class with their child.
Tot Library Gym & Swim Tuesday 9:00-noon
Meet at the Silverthorne Library for story time and a project with the great Library staff. Walk back to the Recreation Center for a snack and drink then it’s off to the gym or outside for some action packed activities. The class finishes with pool fun! Wear your swimsuit under your clothes, bring a towel, and please dress for outside weather, as the walk back from the Library can be a cold one!
Dance Friday 3:30-5:45 (time dependent on class technique and age)

Youth Leisure: designed for children 5 years of age and older

Classes are offered in Tap, Ballet, and Jazz. Classes are age appropriate with classes for each area split for 5-8 or 9-11 year olds. There is also a Combo Class for each age group that covers all 3 dance disciplines.
Outdoor Adventure Summers TBA
Kids will have an opportunity to explore Summit County’s great outdoors. They will hike, bike, and explore! Pack up the backpack and bring your lunch and lots of water.
Kids in the Kitchen Summer TBA
Kids learn to make great meals for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! Safety in the kitchen is taught as well. A cookbook of all the recipes will come home too!
