Blue Ribbon Bacon Tour, June 23-24, 2012

Bacon – Pronunciation [bey-kuhn] – the back and sides of the hog, salted, and dried or smoked, usually sliced thin and fried for food.  New to Keystone for summer 2011, this festival is sure to turn some heads.  Whether you’re a bacon enthusiast or the loved one of a bacon connoisseur this event is for you.  With thousands of pounds of bacon and bacon inspired cuisine at your finger tips you won’t want to miss this weekend long celebration of bacon.

Keystone Wine and Jazz Festival, July 14-15, 2012

River Run braids hundreds of wines into a picturesque piazza of wine seminars and deluxe jazz ensembles. Kindle a sashay into your step with a sophisticated, weekend affair in the heart of Keystone.  Learn about different regions and the delicate nuance of flavors that evolve the finest vineyard blends.   Enrich your knowledge by attending the wine seminars and discover which wines and foods harmonize with your favorite selections.  Enjoy live music from national Jazz musicians including headliner Big Sam’s Funky Nation out of New Orleans.  Enjoy this weekend long wine event reminiscent of its glory days of ’06 / ’07 with a renewed Republic National Distributing Co. partnership in place for the 2011 event.

Keystone Bluegrass and Beer Festival, August 4-5, 2012

For the 15th year Keystone brings the wonders of Appalachia to the Rockies. Down-home cooking, frothy flavors and mountain-music are just a piece of the pie. In a whirlwind of hillbilly luxuries, folks gather while more than 25 of Colorado’s finest micobreweries showcase their unique blends of hops and barley. Live music on 3 stages. Kids Zone provides activities for the kids and the bounce house is open all day.
