Keystone Snowmobiling Tours and Rentals
Keystone Snowmobiling Tours and Rentals offer an adventurous high country escape, with an endless supply of powder-filled bowls and meadows to explore. The mountains surrounding Keystone, Dillon and Silverthorne, Colorado combine with lofty altitudes to create a tremendous amount of snow that is ideal for snowmobiling. Keystone Snowmobiling offers an array of guided snowmobile tours and unguided snowmobile rentals to guests with proper experience and skill.
Keystone Snowmobiling is located near the continental divide and is a fun trip either on a tour or your own adventure and features over 55,000 acres and 50 miles of groomed trails or you can choose to blaze your own trail. Half day rentals last three hours and start at $140 -$175 (depending on the type of vehicle) and full day rentals (7 hour) start at $220-$250. Note that these prices include a helmet, but do not include any other equipment. If you want to rent goggles, boots, and snowsuits, the price is $18, and there are additional costs for gas, taxes, and NFS surcharges. In other words, expect to spend a bit more than the stock prices.
Keystone Snowmobiling is a great opportunity to see a part of Colorado you wouldn’t normally be able to. The excursions are awe-inspiring and highly recommended to supplement your vacation!
For more information you can call them at 1.866.998.0696 or their website at www.keystonesnowmobiling.com and they have great customer service and are close to Keystone.
Other companies that are a little further away, but still offer exceptional customer service, excursions and other great activities for you and your family or friends. One of the great ones are Colorado Backcountry Rentals (which also handle ATV adventures in the summer) and their prices begin at $139 and do not include a gas surcharge. They can be reached at 970-406-1397 or www.coloradobackcountryrentals.com. If you are looking to get out of Keystone or even Summit County, Aspen and Vail offer some great backcountry excursion experiences. Some are only an hour or two away, such as Nova Guides, Aspen Canyon Ranch, and White Mountain Tours.
No matter which company you decide to go with, I would highly recommend adding this adventure to your vacation, many cater to children’s events or have other great experiences like snowbus tours. Either way this is a great way to take a break from skiing and enjoy the mountains and Colorado!
