Keystone River Run Village

River Run Village at Keystone Resort is the newest base area at the resort and known as the heart of Keystone Colorado.  River Run Village is home to many condominium complexes, boutique shops, world class restaurants, and of course home to the River Run Condos and withing walking distance to the River Run Gondola.

River Run is an ideal home for a ski vacation if you prefer to walk to the slopes and be in the middle of the action.  It is possible to come on vacation and take a shuttle from the airport, and walk to ski rental shops, restaurants, a small market and never need to drive anywhere.

River run village hosts multiple events, including the Keystone Wine Festival, Blue grass and beer festival, street parties, parades, mardi gras, bettyfest, and more. River Run Village can be a good time, however Keystone is always family friendly and the partying is kept to a quiet roar and calms down very early so everyone can still wake up for first powder runs in the winter or early morning fishing in the summer.

The buildings in River Run are modern and most feature heated parking, out door hot tubs, pool access, and many have lobbies with comfortable lounge seating, fireplaces flat screen TV’s pool tables, fitness centers and more.

Dining in River Run Village includes many great restaurants, cafe’s and bars.  Start the morning with a cup of coffee over at Starbucks in the Silver Mill building or at Inxspot the local cup of java in the Black Bear lodge.  Lunch and dinner will bring more options from a burger and fries to a multi-course meal.

If shopping is what you are after in Keystone River Run has more than a handful of shops to keep you busy, whether you are looking for the piece of ski gear you forgot to bring on vacation or someone in your group is planning on hitting the shops while others hit the slopes.

River Run Condos

We get calls all the time with guests who are looking for the River Run Condos and can not find them on them on the map.  The River Run Condos are not actually a real place or the name of the building but rather a collection of Condominiums in River Run Village itself.  The condos in the Keystone Village include: Arapahoe Lodge, Black Bear Lodge, Buffalo Lodge, Dakota Lodge, Expedition Station, Jack Pine Lodge, and Red Hawk Lodge.

If you would like to reserve a specific River Run Condo instead of just getting one assigned to you then you can not stay with the resort or travel resellers but you can pick not only which River Run Village condo building you would like but you can also pick which condo inside of the building you want to stay in.  Now this is great if you have a special sleeping arrangement you are looking for, or if you have a large group that all wants to stay in one building vs. being spread all over River Run Village.
