Keystone and the surrounding area is packed with many great restaurants. From high end at the top of Keystone Mountain only accessible by gondola, to a simple bar and grill, Summit County and Keystone Colorado has it all.
Choosing a restaurant in Keystone is easy, you won’t need to worry at the majority of restaurants of under dressing or picking a place that won’t have something for everyone, jeans are acceptable everywhere and most of the Keystone restaurants have menu items for the whole family because Keystone is the Family Friendly resort of the Rocky Mountains!
If you are looking to try and find a deal for your family you should pick up a copy of the daily newspaper called “The Summit Daily News”. It’s is free and is published every day. Many restaurants advertise specials daily. During the off-season (Late Spring & Early Fall) there are many 2-for-1 discounts advertised. We highly recommend this method, as you can save lots of money! Keystone has one of the best sports bars and it is The Haywood Cafe. Littered with LCD screen everywhere, sports on from open to close, and amazing food, you found the right spot. The Haywood cafe is connected to the SummitCove check in office, so if you arrive a bit early and your condo is not yet ready, this is the ideal place to hang out for a bit.

If you are in River Run Village and looking for a tasty snake head over to Beaver Tails. You will enjoy this sweet and tasty concoction and the kids will love it. Who doesn’t think that deep fried whole wheat dough in the shape of a beaver tail with your choice of toppings sounds like a great idea. Swing by for a smoothie or a variety of juices.

Today Breckenridge Brewery continues to work hard to satisfy the thirsts of discerning beer drinkers. Richard’s original recipes — and a handful of seasonal creations — are now handcrafted at three Breckenridge Brewery locations in Colorado. We highly recommend visiting the Breck Brewery as the locals call it for a happy hour snack, you can avoid the crowds and enjoy the best artichoke and spinach dip in Summit County, they serve this with the ball park pretzels and you just fall in love instantly!

Calla Inn
Keystone Colorado’s only traditional Celtic restaurant. Celtic is a mix of Scottish and Irish, the Celtic Peoples. Located strategically between Dillon and Keystone, near the shores of Lake Dillon..and within walking distance of the Lake Haus properties. The Cala Inn offers an intimate setting for family and friends to dine or to just congregate around a table of Irish Guinness and friendly talk. Although not a sports bar, there is usually rugby or soccer on the TV in the bar area. The restaurant specializes in a mixture of pub foods including Shepherd’s pie, Fish and Chips, and our signature dish, Steak and Guinness pie.

Right beneath the Lake Dillon Dam is one of the areas best brewpubs. Featuring a wide variety of great meals for the whole family, you must also make sure you try a few of the fine crafted brews they serve. Possibly even take some back to your condo in their 1/2 gallon refillable jugs! The Dillon Dam Brewery is a must if you’re in the area for a few days. The Dam Brewery as we call it has dam good beer and a dam good time for everyone. You will see locals lined up for the happy hour specials with amazing food and spectacular drink specials you will want to make the trip at least once to the dam brewery!

The Edgewater Cafe is a great little breakfast and lunch spot down on Keystone Lake. If you are looking for an outside patio you will enjoy people watching from here. Nothing too special and nothing on the menu you won’t be able to pronounce but a nice little spot to enjoy yourself.

Can you say fish tacos done right! Chimayo Grill is locally owned and operated and one of our favorite spots for a great lunch in Dillon. The chicken tacos are so good that sometimes you have to go two days in a row!

Jersey Boys is good enough to wait out the long time it always takes to get your food, the way of life in Jersey we guess? Great pizza, good sandwiches and a real down to earth place to grab a bite to eat and a cold brew!

Kickapoo Tavern – River Run Village Bar and Grill
Kickapoo Tavern is the place to go after a day of fun in Keystone, whether you want to belly up to the bar for a cold one from the huge beer selection or grab a table and enjoy a nice meal. Kickapoo always seems to do us right! Great hot sandwhiches, hearty portions, and delicous cold brews. Closest place to grab a beer to the Gondola!

Kulas Cafe in Dillon is a great cafe and grill. You will enjoy salads, soups, and sandwiches and you will feel very welcome when you dine at Kula’s, they have a great staff and are open daily for breakfast and lunch!

Nozawa Sushi is the sushi place nearest Keystone, located next to City Market in Dillon you will love some of the specialty sushi rolls and grilled items on there extensive menu including all fo the traditional Japanese classics.

Pizza on the plaza is a neat cozy pizza place down in Lakeside Village. If you are with the kids ice skating on Keystone lake in the winter or paddle boating in the summer head over to Pizza on the Plaza for a slice or a whole pie!
Pizza on the Run is in River Run Village and is a great place to grab a slice before leaving a day of powder skiing of mountain biking in Keystone. This Keystone pizza place is a good one for anyone in River Run Village becuase it sure is convenient and after all pizza is good cold too!
A local favorite hangout located in the heart of Dillon. Pugs serves up excellent meals, and superb soups after a long day of skiing. Pug Ryans has won numerous awards for their fine crafted ales at the Great American Beer Festival several years running.. In the summertime, eat a meal and go to the outdoor Dillon Ampitheater located right on the shores of Lake Dillon for a free concert.

Wolf Rock Steakhouse and Brew Company
Keystone’s best informal formal dining experience. Keystone has found the best servers, the best bar tenders, the best cooks and put them under one roof and welcomes the whole crowd to experience delicious meals like prime rib so thick you hurt, mashed potatoes with enough garlic to guarantee your going home alone and good everything else. Even after you clean the bone off of the porterhouse becuase you deserve it you should stick around for a nice after dinner drink to free up enough room for one of the best spots for dessert in River Run Village.
The Wolf Rock is hands down the best restaurant in River Run Village and easily in the top 5 in Keystone without the hassle of a gondola ride and without breaking the bank.
