Silver Mill at Keystone Resort opens new fitness center!
Good news to people looking to get in a good morning work out before you head out for a day of adventure in Keystone Resort. When you stay at the Silver Mill Condos in River Run Village you can take advantage of the newly opened fitness center. The Silver Mill fitness center features a weight station, elliptical machine, stationary bike, and fitness balls with plenty of room to get in a good work out when your in Keystone. Come to Keystone and celebrate the opening of Warren Station, which is the replacement for the Keystone Pavilion.
Start the weekend off on Sat with a visit to River Run. Kidsfest will be taking place and the kidos eyes will light up when they see all of the activities just for them. Pet a friendly farm animal at the petting zoo, chug along the main drag in a train, get a spider on your face at the face painting station, meet a true artist who happnes to work with balloons, play some mind boggling midway games, and jump to your heart’s content at the bounce houses!
July 4th in Keystone is a fabulous way to celebrate our nation’s independence! The festivities begin at 9:30 a.m. The kids get to decorate their bikes with all the red, white and blue flair they can come up with. They can paint their faces and hair if they truly have the spirit and the riding begins at 10:00. We have spent several years at the bike parade and each year the community seems to outdo it self. Be careful, these kids mean business as they tool around on trikes, bikes and unicycles!
After the bike parade, head back to your superb SummitCove condo and let the kids nap because the evenings events will truly be a “blast”! The Edgewater Cafe will be serving up an old fashioned BBQ with live music and then it’s time to stake out your spot on the lake for a round of amazing fireworks. Stay until the very end if you can because the grand finale is spectacular.

We would like to thank all of our amazing team members and the people who donated to Team SummitCove! We spent a total of 9 hours and 7 minutes on our bikes, riding from Westminster, CO to Ft. Collins, CO in order to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. We raised over $6000 dollars! Not to bad for a small team on their first fund raising mission. The weather was perfect, the route was beautiful and the beer was cold at the finish line. We are looking forward to doing it again next year and are already dreaming up a design for our jerseys in 2011. If you own a road bike, think about joining us! Our owner has promised to provide a massage therapist if we can get 30 riders next year. Free massages, free jerseys and free beer. That’s a deal!
