If you are looking for an excuse to get dressed up and enjoy a night out at Keystone Resort, try Vodka on the Rockies.  Warren Station and Three Olives will host the event to benefit the Keystone Science School at 7 pm on Saturday, February 11th.

Expect live music, heavy hors d’ouevres, a tasting of 6 types of Three Olives vodka, a DJ, photobooth, ice sculptures, and more. 

Advanced tickets are $45 per person, and $80 for two.  On the night of the event, tickets will be $50 per person, $85 for two. $5 ticket at the door will be available after 10 PM for the DJ show only.  Needless to say, this is a 21yr and over event.

Keystone will have the opportunity to host the Burton Mountain Festival from February 10th-12th!  This is the first year of Burton’s tour which will head to 10 ski resorts this season, including Keystone!  The festival was also held at Copper Mountain Resort on December 30th.  Look for free on-snow entertainment, demos, live music, giveaways from various sponsors, and contests.

Four key elements are planned for each of the stops, and will include music, demos, test rides, and parks.   Even the youngest skiers and riders can participate.  Be sure to check out the apres events and live musical performances.

Keystone Resort is one of 4 mountains to host the 4th season of the Helly Hansen Big Mountain Battle.  Teams of two will compete to win $2,000 worth of Helly Hansen gear and an entry in the final battle in Aspen.  Runs are designed by ski patrol with times to beat for each course.

Open to all age levels, this event will include advanced, intermediate and Under 12 courses.  Teams will explore the mountain in the allotted 3 hour time period.  Checkpoints will include various lifts, runs and hikes.  Teams  are given a course map and team card, and will be tracked by GPS.  The top 3 teams receive awards.

The snow is due this weekend, and if that weren’t enough reason to make your way to Summit County, Keystone Resort will host Canvas and Cocktails on Saturday, January 21st.  This fun night out at Warren Station in River Run Village will help you explore your artistic side!  Canvas and Cocktails is a creative class for artists of all levels, including beginners.  There is no experience required, and this is a great opportunity to learn the basics of acrylic painting with friends or family.  An instructor will take you step by step to recreate a featured painting that night.  It’s easy, fun, and totally stress free. By the end of the night you will be amazed at the artwork you have created.

Doors open and cocktails will be served beginning at 6 PM, painting begins at 7 PM.  Ticket costs are $41.99 in advance, $45.00 at the door.
