Kids love summertime in Keystone

Here is a portion of an email we received from a recent guest who stayed in River Run Village

My girls love going to Keystone, especially to the Springs pool/hot tubs and fire pit.  Their new favorite thing to do this Summer/July was to ride the gondola up and go tubing in shorts and crocs.  They loved it!!  They also like to play putt putt over by the park.  We also found out when you buy your first round of putt putt, you can play as long as you want and your price is good for all day and you can come back to play again and again (Same day only).  Always fun to stop by the Rocky Mountain Chocolate factory and satisfy your sweet tooth.  Lauren, our 6 year old, had fun watching a theater production of Rapunzel at the ampitheatre.   They also like going to Lakeside Village, riding the paddle boats and getting the ducks and geese to follow for food.  We have ridden our bikes from River Run Village out to Lake Dillon as well.  Not too tough of a ride for kids to do and a paved path.  Keystone is always a fun family place to be. I wanted to say thank you again for such an amazing experience for our family in Keystone, it is always nice to work with SummitCove.

Grab the kids and head up to Keystone for a weekend trip, now that the kids are in school it won’t be long until Fall kicks in and we are unable to enjoy some of the summer clasics in Keystone Colorado.

JACKPINE LODGE CONDO

Right in the heart of River Run Village this River Run Condo is a festival goers dream! The balcony looks right down into the courtyard where all the action is!

Jack Pine #8017 is well furnished, has a full sized sofa sleepr, granite counter tops in the kitchen and 2.5 bathrooms which means all 6 people will be able to spread out and not feel crowded using one or two bathrooms.

At 1322 square feet this is one of the largest two bedroom condos we manage in River Run. Summit Cove now manages SIX Jack Pine Condos with 8013. 8015 and now 8017 all in the same hallway. This makes for a GREAT setup for a group that wants to split into a few different condos, stay close together and also enjoy one of the shortest walks to the slopes in River Run at just 134 yards.

The kitchen is beautiful, the dining room is spacious and lit by chandelier and natural light, and there is even PRIVATE laundry in this condo which is a BIG seller for families, to name a few things about this condo that stand out to me.

I am excited to have another great walk to slopes condo on our program for the upcoming ski season. Let’s get some of these Christmas and Spring Break reservations into Jack Pine 8017 condo this week!

Smokey Joe's Cafe in River Run Village Keystone

Description from the Lake Dillon Theatre Co.

http://lakedillontheatre.org/shows-a-events/all-shows/71/190-smokey-joes-cafe

“Leiber and Stoller, as much as anyone, virtually invented rock ‘n’ roll, and now their songs provide the basis for an electrifying entertainment that illuminates a golden age of American culture. In an idealized ’50’s setting, the classic themes of love won, lost and imagined blend with hilarious set-pieces and slice-of-life emotions. Featuring nearly 40 of the greatest songs ever recorded, SMOKEY JOE’S CAFE isn’t just great pop music – it’s compelling musical theatre.”

River Run Village at Warren Station

Warren Station is going to be hosting several exciting events in River Run Village and the best part of the show is that if you are staying in the River Run Condos you can go from your Keystone Lodging, to dinner in River Run, and then back to your River Run Condo all with out driving.  Come and enjoy what Keystone River Run Village is all about.

River Run Condos in Keystone Resort – Where are the 4 bedroom condos?

River Run Condo Buildings

Finding the perfect condo in River Run Village can seem like quite the task, after all you have several buildings to choose from, multiple floor plans, amenities, what floor do you want, how many bedrooms, tv’s, where do you start?  River Run Village has multiple options for a reason, that reason is to make sure that the perfect accommodations are available to you as our guest.  You can find all of the River Run Condos with SummitCove.  River Run condos are going to very in size from studio condos up to your 4 bedroom condos, however there will be a majority of 1 and 2 bedroom condos with minimal 3 and 4 bedroom condos in River Run Village.

When they started to develop River Run Village as a base area at Keystone Resort they sat down and determined that they could charge more money per condominium building to individual owners and also split the costs of Home Owners Association dues across more property owners in River Run if they have more.  So as a result the majority of the River Run Condos are going to be 1 bedroom condos.  The standard 1 bedroom 1 bath condo in River Run Village is set up for sleeping of 4, usually 2 in the Queen or King bed in the bedroom and then 2 additional on a sofa sleeper in the living room.  Some owners of River Run Condos have opted to increase the sleeping capacity with the addition of a murphy bed or with a futon sleeper or additional bed in the bedroom.

Some of the River Run Condos have much larger floor plans than others and it is always important to look at the River Run Condo you are considering for your vacation to Keystone and consider what your plans are for the time you are in the Resort.  If you are planning on being out on the slopes and out on the town for everything except for quick meals and sleeping than it probably doesn’t really matter.  However if you are planning on having a loved one in the condo for an extended period of time you might want to look at some of the River Run Condos that have great views, fireplaces, and a large and comfortable living area.

All in all we believe that the experience you will recieve while staying in any of our River Run Condos will leave you coming back for more.

Buffalo Lodge Courtyard looking good!

Buffalo Lodge Courtyard Sparkling

Buffalo Lodge courtyard is getting a face lift this spring.  The Keystone crews were hard at work getting the place to look brand new.  This time of year River Run Village gets a little pampering after a long hard winter of use and abuse.  The Courtyard at Buffalo Lodge was completely pressure washed and we were amazed at how much mud actually came up out of the ground.  The crew had a wheel barrel almost full!  It is a sign of things to come in Keystone this spring, with the weather promising a mixture of all 4 seasons for the next month we know that River Run will be looking good for the fun summer events right around the corner!

False Fire Alarm Hidden River Lodge

Saturday, April 17th, 2010

The residents of Hidden River Lodge in Keystone Resort woke up to a false fire alarm this morning.  The lights were flashing and sirens letting everyone know that they needed to evacuate the building just in time for a spring morning snow shower outside of Hidden River Lodge.  According to top secret sources the firemen were in full force and went through room by room with the Keystone Emergency Services folks.  The Firemen searched every room at Hidden River Lodge before finally finding the source of the smoke. Our Top secret informants claimed this took hours, but after all it was early morning and that could equal what was a fun gathering of residents for an early morning community shower.  The source of the smoke was coming from the housekeeper in the garage who was just cleaning up after a long ski season of dirt and snow melt, apparently when you mix the wrong oil in the two stroke gas blower and then stay in a garage with limited air flow that results in a free wake up call for everyone at Hidden River Lodge!  So remember to enjoy the little things in life when on vacation in Keystone and clean up your condo, you never know when your hunk fire fighter comes into your bedroom only to find a  mess? Thanks to all the hard working emergency responders, always good to see such amazing response times in case it were an emergency.
