If you are driving or flying from out of state, you know just what a hassle it can be to bring your own ski and snowboard gear. There is good news…you can rent skis or snowboards at any ski area in Colorado. It doesn’t matter if you’re a complete beginner, or an expert…all rental shops have the gear to outfit you for your ability.
We typically recommend renting your gear at locally owned shops in Keystone due to the vast amount of knowledge that they can offer about specific ski conditions at Keystone and where to find the best powder stashes at Keystone Resort. If you have any equipment problems, local ski rental shops in Keystone Resort are more willing to give you personal service and friendly advice. Renting at the base of the ski resort will usually result in higher prices, extremely long lines for ski gear, no variety, and no personal service.
We highly recommend Mountain View Sports in Keystone. Not only are they by far the best ski rental shop in all of Keystone, they have a passion for customer service and you’ll be amazed at how fast you can be in and out. Best of all, Mountain View Sports is located just 1/4 of a mile from where you’ll be picking up your keys to start your Keystone vacation. Just call ahead or stop by and they’ll get you setup.
