There are plenty of reasons to plan a reunion in a neutral location. Avoid spending weeks planning and preparing your home, and rent a vacation home or condo. If your family is wonderful in small doses, think about renting several condos in the same building. Share the responsibility of meal planning and clean up, work together in choosing activities! The Rocky Mountain Reunions Rewards Program
If you take on the task of being your reunion organizer, you will be rewarded with SummitCove. The Rocky Mountain Reunion Rewards program, will help you to find a simple and easy solution to planning your family reunion. In addition to a 10% off discount for every reservation in the group, the reunion organizer receives 5% cash back from every reservation that is made under the group’s custom discount code when you meet the requirement of 10 reservations. The organizer may use this money towards the reunion, for meals or activities, or even use it towards their own trip. In addition to the cash back, the organizer also receives a $200 credit with SummitCove towards reunion lodging. Smaller family reunions are also welcome! Groups with at least 5 reservations can still be set up to receive a discount without the cash back and credit rewards. Please contact us in order to set up your reunion or group stay. A contract is required to participate in our group rewards programs. Some restrictions apply.
Guests of the SummitCove Reunions program can choose to stay in multiple properties within the same building or village or rent a spacious private home to accommodate larger families under one roof. A dedicated Vacation Planner will work with the reunion organizer to find a custom solution for the group based on budget, size of group, and preferred amenities and location. Each group receives a custom landing page with the discount built in for easy online booking, and your custom webpage can include maps, itineraries, events, and vacation ideas. Guests may book individually and each receive a personal confirmation via email.
Keystone, Colorado is a great location for a wide variety of activities. With miles of hiking trails, a lake with paddle boat and canoe rentals, mountain bikes for rent, and more, there is literally something for everyone. The summer festivals begin in late June and run through August, including the Blue Ribbon Bacon Tour and the Bluegrass and Beer Festival. Both the Dillon and Frisco Marinas have pontoon boats available for rent, most equipped with barbeque grills, perfect to enjoy a day out on Lake Dillon. Whitewater Rafting is another popular group activity in Colorado, that’s sure to get everyone’s adrenaline pumping. Individual trips vary across several rivers and locations and rafters can enjoy anything from Class II to Class V rapids. It is a fun way to soak up the amazing Colorado scenery and enjoy the bright Colorado sunshine. Or for a free activity, take the family on a scenic hike to enjoy panoramic views and gorgeous hills of brightly colored wildflowers. Every SummitCove summer reservation also receives a free two-hour bike rental, perfect to explore the miles of paved bike paths, mountain trails, or can even choose to take a guided ‘Ride the Pass’ trip down the scenic Vail Pass Area. Settler’s Creek is another popular area in the summer. The newest neighborhood of Keystone features multi-level town homes, varying in size from two to four bedrooms. In the middle of the complex is Minnie’s Cabin, with an outdoor pool and hot tub, barbeque grill, pool table, and gathering spot inside. Other areas include River Run Village, Lakeside Village, and West Keystone properties. We also have a number of Private Homes which are a great central gathering place for everyone to meet. When should I reserve lodging for my family reunion?
The key to a successful family reunion getaway is planning early! There is no reason why you can not reserve 20 properties in the same building if you start soon enough! It is not uncommon to reserve multiple properties 12 to 18 months in advance to ensure you have all of you lodging options available. Because of our tremendous selection you can still find the perfect accommodations in late April to mid-May and secure your smaller group a great time in Keystone.
