Rental Demand Heat Map of Keystone Ski Resort

The lead time for which a property books is in indication of the demand on that property. For example a property might get a booking for Christmas week, but it is only July. Sure….people might plan ahead, but this also shows that there is a demand and that people do not want to miss out on being able to rent a premier place during the holidays. At the same time, another property that is similar in features, but in a different location might book for Christmas week later in September. Other properties might book in November or Early December for that same Christmas week.

This is one of the mot useful tools you will use in your search for a new property. It is a simple heat map of the rental demand in Keystone Ski Resort. We have compiled this map from our rental statistics based on the lead time for which people rent the property for a given season. This map DOES NOT visually show how well a rental property performs. It DOES show which areas have the higher demand and book out earlier than others. The boundries are not exact and this is just meant to be a visual representation of demand. Some properties might be located in a lower demand area, but are high-end, such as private homes. These are sort of in a category by themselves and this heat map does not always apply in those cases.

This heat map is an interesting way to see how the demand might play into rental potential or appreciation of a property. However, keep in mind that there are many properties out there that might be incredible investments, but not in a high demand area….the two do not go hand in hand.
