Laura grew up in Loveland, Colorado and spent weekends skiing at Copper Mountain, Keystone, Breckenridge, and Arapahoe Basin since age 7. She moved to Summit County in 1999, and currently lives in Silverthorne with her husband Rick and dog, Diego.

Summit County provides the perfect playground for Laura and her love of the outdoors. She especially enjoys skiing, snowboarding, kayaking, snow kiting, and serves on the Town of Silverthorne Sport Committee. Besides the two obvious seasons of winter and spring-summer-fall, she appreciates the treasures of the less well know seasons such as humming bird season, berry picking season, and aspen viewing season.
