Listen and Learn: Music 101
Learn about and play different musical instruments, join singalongs and play musical games during this musical hour at the Kidtopia Headquarters on Tuesdays from 11 am – 12 pm.
Meet the Avy Dog
It’s your chance to meet the Keystone Avalanche Dog Team! See and learn about these brave pups from 4:30 – 5:30 pm every Tuesday during ski season at the Kidtopia Headquarters in the main level of Expedition Station.

Colorado’s Critters- Wildlife Education Station
Join the Friends of the Dillon Ranger District in learning about the Wildlife that lives in Summit County, Colorado such as black bears, beavers, mountain goats and moose. Every Wednesday from 1:30 – 2:30 pm at the Kidtopia Headquarters, free to attend.

 

Thursday, March 21:
Family Snowshoeing 101
Every Thursday during ski season, try a free snowshoeing lesson from 2 – 3 pm at the Keystone Nordic Center.
Cupcakes & Canvas
Learn to paint a masterpiece from an expert art teacher as you stuff your face with cupcakes! Class is from 4:30 – 5:30 and $15 per person, call 970-496-4386 to register.

 

Friday, March 22:
Super Snowy Science

Fridays from 1 – 2 pm at the Kidtopia Headquarters you can learn about snowflakes, snow layers, the snow cycles and avalanche safety from the Keystone Science School.
Ripperoo’s Milkshake Social
Stop by Mountain House on Friday afternoons from 4:30 – 5:30 pm to build your own milkshake and color your own souvenir mug!
Ski with a Ranger at Arapahoe Basin
Free one-hour tour where you will learn about the cultural and natural history of the area, 10 – 11 am, meet at Mountain Goat Plaza.

 

Saturday, March 23:
The Lil’ Smokies at Warren Station
Rock and bluegrass roots are at the heart of this Colorado Band who has been gaining popularity all over the US. Catch them back at Warren Station this March! Tickets are $25 online, in advance.

Kidtopia River Run Fireworks
Every Saturday night through April 6, enjoy an incredible fireworks display over the mountain, best viewed from the River Run Village Plaza!  Fireworks start at 8 pm.
Beavers Celebration Party at Arapahoe Basin
Enjoy live music, beverages and dancing from 1 – 4 pm to celebrate the opening of The Beaver’s and Steep Gullies! DJ Nick will play from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.  SF1 will be playing from  2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.  ENZI will be playing from  3:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m.

 

Sunday, March 24:
Fireside Cocoa & Coloring
Paint your own winter mug and enjoy filling it with a cup of chocolatey hot cocoa, free to participate from 1 – 3 pm at the Adventure Center in Lakeside Village.

 

Monday, March 25:
Winter Movie Matinee
Head to the Kidtopia Headquarters from 4:30 – 6pm every Monday afternoon during ski season to enjoy a free showing of PG rated  family fun film with free popcorn!

G. Love & Special Sauce at Warren Station

This band has toured for the last 25 years and are back at Warren Station for year 2, including a special ‘pop-off’ performance. Tickets are $30 in advance, A or $35 day of show at the door, if available.  Pre-Show Pop Off tickets are $99.
Doors open at 7pm, opener Ben Sparaco and The New Effect come on at 8pm and at 9:15 pm,  G. Love and Special Sauce hit the stage for a night of fun music.

11th Annual Save our Snow and Demo Day at Arapahoe Basin
Demo skis and equipment with a $10 donation that supports the High Country Conservation Center. Enjoy prize drawings and a silent auction and peruse tents from sustainable businesses and products.
9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.: Demo Village Open
11:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.: Live music by High Five in Mountain Goat Plaza
2:30 p.m.: Raffle in Mountain Goat Plaza

Saturday, April 6:
Tim O-Brien Band at Warren Station
The Tim O’Brien Band will close down Warren Station for the winter season on April 6th, Keystone’s closing weekend. Don’t miss our last concert of the season! Ski and ride all day, and spend the evening rocking with a true bluegrass legend. Tickets start at $20.00 and can be purchased at warrenstation.com. Doors open at 8 pm and show runs from 9 – 10:30 pm.
Kidtopia River Run Fireworks
Every Saturday night through April 6, enjoy an incredible fireworks display over the mountain, best viewed from the River Run Village Plaza!  Fireworks start at 8 pm.

 

Sunday, April 7:
Keystone Slush Cup & Closing Day

This is the event we all look forward to every season! Brave participants speed down the mountain towards an icy pool of water, hoping to make it across! Costumes are highly encouraged and this event is just as much fun to watch as it is to participate in. Entry is $35 for adults and free for kids 12 and under (kids have a smaller pool!)

Wednesday, April 10:
30th Annual Enduro & Apres Party at Arapahoe Basin 
Cheer on the participants in the 30th Annual Enduro, a fundraiser and ski-a-thon that benefits a local cause.  The race portion is sold out, but everyone is welcome to watch and then attend the Apres Ski Party, from 4 – 8 pm, with dinner from 5 – 7pm and live music form 5:30 – 8pm.

 

Wednesday, April 10 – Saturday, April 13:
4th Annual Enduro Light
A non-competitive and less intense version of the Enduro, with Pali laps and a ski tour of the Basin.  Check off designated sites on your ‘passport’ and then be entered to win the prize drawing at the end of the day. Entry fee is $100 per team of 2 and includes a 2019 Enduro poster, dinner, a beer or beverage and a special drawing. Register Now! 

 

Saturday, April 20:
Earth Day Celebration at Arapahoe Basin
Celebrate Earth Day by carpooling to The Basin, the first several hundred people who come in a car with 3 or more people will receive Darn Tough socks, Clif Bars and raffle tickets to the Apres Party at 3 pm in the Mountain Goat Plaza. Participate in the Scavenger Hunt, $20 per team of 2, $5 extra per person.  All proceeds benefit POW, ,9 am – 2 pm.
Moonlight Dinner Series at Arapahoe Basin
Tickets on sale starting at 8am on March 24. Hawaiian Luau theme, skin or snowshoe up to the Black Mountain Lodge and ski or hike down after the event. Enjoy an incredible meal and live entertainment for a unique and memorable night! Cost is $95 per person plus tax.

Sunday, April 21:
Beach N’ Egg Hunt at Arapahoe Basin
Search for 5,000 eggs on foot or on skis! kids on skis will head to Wrangler, one of our green (beginner) trails to search for eggs, and those who wish to hunt on foot will search for eggs on Molly Hogan. Bottom of Molly Hogan 10:30 a.m. The Easter Bunny will be hiding a Golden Egg on Molly Hogan with a Kids half-price, half-day lesson. A Golden Egg will be hiding on Wrangler near Weasel Way at 11:30 am with a Child’s 19/20 Season Pass.

Shakin’ at the Basin Concert Series at Arapahoe Basin 
From 1 – 4 pm enjoy free live music at the Mountain Goat Plaza, with Mama Magnolia.

Saturday, May 11:
Shakin’ at the Basin Concert Series at Arapahoe Basin 
From 1 – 4 pm enjoy free live music at the Mountain Goat Plaza, with Atomga.
4th Annual Swimwear Day and Spring Rail Jam at Arapahoe Basin
Show up in your favorite swimwear and stop by the Arapahoe Basin tent to get a free raffle ticket, for the 2 pm raffle (must be present to win). Various prizes will be awarded, including a Never Summer Snowboard! The A-Basin Spring Rail Jam befings with practice and registration starting at 10 am in the Treeline Terrain Park. The Snowboard Jam is at 11 am and the Ski Jam at 12 pm, followed by finals at 1 pm. Free to enter and winners will be awarded excellent prizes and bragging rights.

Shakin’ at the Basin Concert Series at Arapahoe Basin

Sunday, May 19:
Bock Fest at Arapahoe Basin 
A party to celebrate the coming of Springtime! Enjoy live music from the RhineLanaders, traditional German food and Bock Beer from 1 – 4 pm.

 

Saturday, May 25:
Shakin’ at the Basin Concert Series at Arapahoe Basin 
From 1 – 4 pm enjoy free live music at the Mountain Goat Plaza, with Part and Parcel.
Spring Rail Jam
Free Rail Jam event, starting at 11am in the Treeline Terrain park! Win prizes such as A-Basin Lift tickets, gifts cards and more, as well as bragging rights!

 

Sunday, May 26:
18th Annual Festival of the Brewpubs at Arapahoe Basin 
Join in on the largest party of the year, from 12 – 4 pm you can sample beer from breweries, enjoy live music, food stations and more.  Purchase a mug for unlimited beer sampling from 12 – 4 pm!
