If you’d like to stay close and take your family over to the stables to see some horses or take a quick ride up into the mountains of Keystone Colorado, the Keystone Stables is a perfect source for Horseback Riding in Keystone. The Keystone Stables are open from early June through early September and offers one or two hour guided tours through Arapahoe National Forest. Riders must be at least 8 years old, but they do have pony rides for younger riders!
You can schedule horseback rides, watch horse grooming, and enjoy a little bit of the wild west. While the Keystone Stables only operates for riding in the summertime, you will be sure that the Keystone Stable’s horses and crew are hard at work year round, providing sleigh rides, horse drawn dinner rides and of course horseback rides. Reservations for horseback riding are required at the Keystone Stables and you can call 970-496-4Fun or 800-354-4386 to book these activities.
The Keystone Stables are located down on Soda Ridge Road in West Keystone. Feel free to ask for directions at our SummitCove Check-in Office when you get to Keystone. We will gladly help you with making your Keystone Vacation a memory your family will not forget. Remember to wear long pants, closed-toe shoes and to bring a jacket just in case!
