There are a lot of great places to stay in and around the Arapahoe Basin Ski area. To get to A-Basin from Keystone Resort, you can either drive the 8 minutes of the Highway or catch the free shuttle that runs from River Run Village up to Arapahoe Basin. Since A-Basin is expanding its terrain and services, such as the new Beavers terrain, which opened in 2019, more and more visitors are enjoying both the early season skiing and the last powder days in Colorado at the resort. A-Basin also recently switched partners from the Vail Resorts Epic Pass, now to the Ikon Pass, which is bringing a different group of people to the mountain.
Since you will be taking Hwy 6 to head up to the resort, it might make sense to book a place right off of Highway 6. You will find many accommodations with SummitCove Lodging that will be perfect for waking up hopping the car and heading right to some of Colorado’s best ski terrain.
