Beaver Creek is a family-oriented luxury ski resort located just 51.6 miles from Keystone. Ski 4,040 vertical feet from the 11,440 foot summit and enjoy 150 groomed ski runs. You can also ski 1,832 acres at Beaver Creek. Beaver Creek is an intermediate skiers paradise, with 43% of the runs being intermediate terrain. The longest run at Beaver Creek is Centennial, measuring at 2.75 miles long!
Beaver Creek is also famous for their heated gondolas, escalators up to the main lifts by the base area, and the free hot cookies every day at 3:00pm at the base area. Beaver Creek is the perfect resort if you want to Ski or Snowboard in comfort and luxury.
There are also some really great family activities to check out at Beaver Creek. There are family-friendly events that happen every day of the week during the winter. Some of our favorites are below:
Ripperoo’s Parade- This parade happens every Monday at 2:30pm and it starts at the Ranch and goes down the beginner run, Hay Meadow. This parades goes on between the dates for December 12th-April 10th.
Buckaroo Bonanza Bunch, Children’s Theatre Story Time- No ski or lift ticket needed for this event! Join the crew at The Ranch and enjoy a complimentary story time with your little ones. This event happens every Tuesday and Sunday at 2:15pm between the dates of December 20th-March 21st.
Rail Jam Playground- This event is great for intermediate level skiers and snowboarders! Learn the terrain park basics with top instructors at this free clinic! This clinic is located in front of the Children’s Ski and Snowboard School near the base of the Centennial Express lift. This event happens every Saturday at 4:00pm – 5:30pm around the dates of December 17th – April 15th.
