Grand Opening of Einstein Bagels in Summit County TODAY!

Back in February of 2011 it was announced that Borders Booksellers was going bankrupt and was forced to close almost 1/3rd of its stores, including 14 in Colorado, and more specifically 1 in Dillon, Colorado. As it closed we watched as the former Borders location was like a void between The Dillon Dam Brewery and City Market.

That was until last summer when it was announced that Einstein Bros Bagels had decided to open a location in that very building. In a county where chain restaurants are prevalent there was a gap in the chain bagel shop market especially given the plethora of Subway locations. Locals waited with anticipation to see when the shop would open.

Earlier this week they had their soft opening, and today is the Grand Opening of the new Einsteins Bagels in Summit County. Patrons are invited to come on in and collect their 10% off tags, have a sandwich for breakfast or lunch, or even just grab a bakers dozen and go. Given the line this morning it looks like Einsteins is going to be a hit and a darn good decision.
