Thanksgiving In Keystone Colorado

Looking for a great place to get the family together? Thanksgiving in Keystone is just the place for such a gathering. Finally there is a place where everyone can meet and stay in one place, with plenty of room for cooking the turkey (or choosing to eat out instead-it is a vacation), watching football, playing games, soaking in a hot tub, and best of all, getting in on the action of some early season skiing or snowboarding. Spending Thanksgiving in Keystone is a great way for people to come together and spend quality time together, with the luxury of getting away from the stress and hassles of home.   Skiing and snowboarding over the Thanksgiving holiday is a great time to hit the slopes: short lift lines, limited crowds, and lots of opportunity for fresh powder.  Also during Thanksgiving in Keystone you will notice the resort is offering fantastic lift ticket deals and when you stay with SummitCove you get amazing deals on rental equipment for the whole family! Not everyone a winter sports fan? Look for the hot Black Friday sales at the outlet malls in Silverthorne.   Last year for Thanksgiving in Keystone we rented a four bedroom town home in the Settlers Creek neighborhood and invited the extended family. It was perfect that there was enough room for everyone to comfortably stay without feeling crowded. We cooked our Thanksgiving dinner of turkey, ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, corn casserole, cranberries, fresh rolls, sweet potatoes, and perhaps most importantly, pumpkin pie. While we indulged ourselves and enjoyed each others company we looked out at  the incredible views of the mountains.   It was amazing to wake up and find it snowing, catching the shuttle, and being able to get off the chairlift and make the first tracks of the day down the runs. Once we got tired we went back to Settlers Creek and soaked in the hot tub while it was still snowing.  The only problem was snow falling in our drinks!   Spending Thanksgiving in Keystone made it possible to spend quality time with those we don't see as often as we like, enjoy the treasures of Colorado, and make one realize just how much we have to be thankful for.
