Breckenridge Spring Fever Hosts The Infamous Stringdusters on Closing Day 2015

The Infamous Stringdusters are, hands down, one of my favorite bands to see live. I personally enjoy just about any kind of live music, so you never have to pull my leg to get me to go see a concert, especially when it's during a beautiful spring day in the sunshine! The 'Dusters are playing a free concert in Breckenridge on Sunday 4/19, which is the ski resort's closing day. Check them out at the base of Peak 8 starting at 2pm, wrapping up Breckenridge's Spring Fever Concert Series. The band consistently visits ski towns each year to do a winter tour in which they get the opportunity to go ski and enjoy the mountains, as a couple of the band's members have roots in Colorado.

This Emmy-nominated Bluegrass band is incredibly high energy and their talent is through the roof. When you attend one of their shows, you will never find anyone sitting down or standing still, everyone is up, moving around and enjoying the music. They play primarily original bluegrass tunes, but will also throw a couple of covers into the mix, putting their own spin on songs each time. They have in the past covered The Grateful Dead, The Police, and Phish just to name a few. This is a band that you will never get sick of and I highly recommend getting out there and enjoying what they have to offer. You can visit The Infamous Stringduster's Website and listen to complete shows they have played in the past by clicking the "Live Archive" button on their website. You can also visit Breckenridge's Spring Fever page for more information on the show itself.

Breckenridge is just a short drive from Keystone, so it is great to visit for a fun day trip. Take the Summit Stage's 'Swan Mountain Flyer' bus and you will be there in no time and won't have to worry about driving or parking!
