Bring Your Family Together in Keystone for Thanksgiving

If you really want to make the most of your holiday weekend, why not take your family to Keystone for a nice ski vacation?  Instead of stressing over a big meal and having to clean the house, spread out in a spacious condo and leave the cooking to someone else!  Spend your time with your family instead!   Spend the weekend skiing together, watching football, playing games and enjoying each other's company.  Take advantage of Keystone's great dining options and instead of spending all of your time in the kitchen, enjoy a great family holiday meal that someone else prepares!  Try some of Keystone's best restaurants such as the Alpenglow Stube, Der Fondue Chessel or the Ski Tip Lodge for a delicious Thanksgiving spread.  For something in River Run, check out Zuma Roadhouse.  You can also find nice family menus at Bighorn Bistro and the Snake River Saloon in Mountain House.   Support your team by sporting your football jersey out on the slopes!  You'll notice that most people stay in on Thursday, meaning you'll have the slopes to yourself!  If you do want to cook your family meal, you can rest easy knowing that your rental condo is stocked with plenty of cooking supplies to make that perfect meal. We require each of our vacation rentals to have a standard inventory of cooking items such as pots, pans, knives, cutting boards, utensils and more.   Arrive on Wednesday evening and just relax. On Thursday, enjoy a family day together skiing and of course eating a big meal, and then more skiing and more eating leftovers!  Friday morning, the diehard shoppers can head into town and enjoy Black Friday Deals at the Silverthorne Outlets Mall!  Talk about great deals, the outlets are a shopping lover's dream come true and every year the deals get better and better! On Saturday, head into River Run Village and attend the Welcome Winter Family Carnival.  This free event happens every year and is the official 'winter kickoff' party.  Enjoy tons of activities and games for the kids, along with live music and winter-themed drink specials for the adults. Watch as the holiday tree lights up and the village lights begin their 'dance' for the holiday season. Santa and his reindeer will also be around for visits with the kids.   Create a new tradition this year of skiing with your family on Thanksgiving at Keystone Ski Resort in Colorado! The fresh, crisp mountain air and exercise sure beats a stuffy, crowded house any day!  You'll love waking up early on Thanksgiving morning to hit the slopes.  Book a condo at The Springs Condos to be close to the gondola so you can head back to the condo periodically throughout the day for Thanksgiving goodies, such as a slice of pumpkin pie and to check on the score of the big game! If you aren't into downhill skiing or snowboarding, grab a pair of snow shoes, cross-country nordic skis or ice skates and head outside!   Take advantage of our new lowered Thanksgiving weekend rates.  Book early for the best property selections, especially if you are traveling with a large or extended family.  We have everything from small ski studio condos, to medium size townhomes up to 5 and 6 bedroom private homes for a large family or even multiple families or a big group of friends!
