COVID-19 Revised Cancellation Policy
Nothing is more important to us than your safety.
During this challenging time, we want to offer our guests as much flexibility as possible. If you booked direct with SummitCove and need to cancel your reservation, you have the following options:
14 Days or More From Arrival:
- Full credit to re-book your reservation within the next 12 months. Trip insurance will only remain valid if you change dates immediately. We cannot apply trip insurance fees paid to a new reservation in the future.
- Refund your credit card minus the booking fee and trip insurance (if it was purchased).
- 50% refund / 50% Future Credit minus the booking fee and trip insurance
- Change your dates to a future date (additional nightly rate charges may occur), or receive a full credit lodging voucher, minus trip insurance fees, to re-book a future reservation.
If you booked on a third party site, you will abide by the policy listed on that site.
Cancellation Request Procedure
All Cancellation requests must be in writing. Cancellation requests may not be submitted via phone. You may submit a cancellation request online through our online cancellation request form. Early departures will not receive a refund or future credit.
SummitCove is not responsible for cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control such as closed roads, adverse weather, sickness, injury, or acts of god. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance through our partners, RED SKY Travel Insurance to protect your financial liability in case of these circumstances. You may purchase travel insurance for your lodging through SummitCove up to the date of your final payment. We are unable to add travel insurance after your final payment. The cost of Trip Insurance is not refundable 14 days after purchase. In case of trip cancellation, Trip Insurance premium is not refunded.
Rental cars cannot be canceled inside 24 hours of arrival date.
There is a $20 fee to cancel each rental car on your reservation.
