Don't Miss Beetlefest in Frisco on September 10th!

Summit County events haven't ended with Labor Day!  Head up to Keystone for the beginning of an exciting autumn, and enjoy the 4th Annual Beetlefest on Frisco's Main Street on Saturday, September 10th.  This all day Main Street festival has something for everyone from wood carving, to bug eating and all points in between.  This event is designed to bring education and awareness regarding the devastation caused by the mountain pine beetle. The event will benefit the Friends of the Dillon Ranger District, whose volunteers are helping to reforest Summit County in the wake of outbreaks of Pine Beetles.

Walk, run, or jog the 4K Beetle Stomp! The course winds around the streets and bike paths of Frisco. Awards and prizes will be given to top runners, as well as the best individual and group "beetle-themed" costumes! All ages welcome! Registration includes fun Beetlefest costume accessories!  The fun doesn't end there.  There will also be a lumberjack show and beetle art.  Take a look at the full schedule of events!
