First Snowfall of the Season in Keystone!

The first snowfall of the season!  Snow has been falling on and off throughout the day today.  Remember to drive in winter 'mode'!  Keystone's opening day is just 27 days away and we couldn't be more excited!  Bundle up, winter is here! This year's opening day celebration will be named  "Dercum Day," as a tribute to the late Max Dercum; one of the original founders of Keystone Resort who passed away earlier this fall, just short of his 99th birthday.  This statue of Max and his Wife, Edna, (seen below) greets skiers and riders as they head over the bridge towards the gondola in Keystone.   In addition to the first chance to hit the slopes, Dercum Day will feature free doughnuts, hot chocolate, coffee, giveaways and more!  Look for the SummitCove Yeti on the prowl with free handouts too!

When Is It Going To Snow!? Contest
4 Lucky Winners guessed the first snowfall date correctly.  The final names will be announced tomorrow! Stay tuned!
