Free Skiing For Your Child This Winter at Keystone and Arapahoe Basin

Vail Resorts and Arapahoe Basin are both launching new programs this winter to ensure that skiing and snowboarding will continue into the next generation by offering free skiing for kids. When it comes to learning, we all understand how important it is to get kids started early when it is easiest to learn.

This winter Arapahoe Basin presents "Kids Free 2 Ski" for the first time ever. This amazing program will provide kids ages 6 - 12 with 2 free days on the mountain with no strings attached. Besides the fact that there are NO blackout dates, there is absolutely no purchase necessary, just simply follow this link and sign up no later than November 8, 2015.

On top of the 2 free days skiing at The Basin, they will be providing children using this program with discounted ski lessons. All ski lessons must take place between 1/4/16 and 4/24/16 and reservations are required. To find out more about this legendary deal or to schedule your lesson call Guest Services at (888) 272-7246.

The folks at A-Basin are not the only ones trying to get the youngsters sliding down the mountain this winter. Vail Resorts is presenting the highly anticipated "Epic Schoolkids Colorado Pack" for children enrolled grades K-5. The word EPIC may not even declare how truly amazing this opportunity is.

The Epic Schoolkids Colorado Pack will provide children in Kindergarten up to 5th grade with free skiing at all of Vail Resorts top ranked mountains. Yes, you heard that correct. If you have a child in any grade between Kindergarten and 5th, you can very easily get them a FREE skiing pass that offers 4 days at each of the mountains including Keystone, Breckenridge, Vail and Beaver Creek, no payment is required.  As if that was not good enough, this pass comes with one FREE ski/ride lesson with an equipment rental. These lessons must be made in advance and is only available from 1/5/16 - 1/31/16 as a part of "Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month" and is not available 1/1/16-1/4/16 or 1/15/16-1/17/16.

So... how do we sign up?! Simply go to any participating Front Range Colorado Ski & Golf, Colorado Ski & Sport, or Boulder Ski Deals location and register your child in person. Your child will have to be in attendance with you during registration and you must bring a copy of your child's report card / school transcript / school ID or birth certificate as well as a physical photo of the child.  There are some blackout dates for this pass so make sure to check those details before heading to the mountain.  This deal is only available until 10/11/15.

It's amazing that we live in a place where outdoor activities are so heavily encouraged. Skiing and snowboarding is a huge part of the foundation that makes Colorado such a special place. Don't let your children miss out on the great joy that this sport brings, especially with an opportunity like this at your fingertips.
