If you’re just looking for that perfect place to crash after a long day of skiing the outback or hiking Keystone Gulch Trail, Gateway 5073 is the spot for your group. This updated modern ski studio can sleep six with a queen bed, single over single bunk bed, and a pull out sofa. After a big day on the mountain, you can curl up on the leather couch and watch your favorite show. The kitchenette allows you to microwave a breakfast burrito and keep your beverages cold in the compact refrigerator. It’s equipped with dishes, an eating bar, and an important coffee maker so you can get your day going. If you don’t feel like cooking, head downstairs to Haywood Cafe for breakfast or lunch located on the ground floor of Gateway in the retail strip mall. You also can enjoy the new Steep Brewery & Coffee Co. also located in the strip mall of Gateway. Perfect to enjoy a craft latte or bloody mary in the morning and an IPA beer with a pretzel for apres ski. You also might be fortunate to catch some live music!
Gateway Lodge has some great amenities. Even if it’s raining or windy, you can always enjoy the heated indoor pool and hot tub. Ideal if you need to entertain young children. If you’re not tired enough after exploring Keystone or have a 5K race coming up (hello, Das Bier Burner!), you can head to the fitness room and get some training in. You’ll love how easy it is to walk over to River Run Village and take in the action of the busy village. You can walk to the gondola but if it’s too far, there is a shuttle pick-up right in front of the lodge. Gateway is also the perfect place to stay if you’re skiing Arapahoe Basin, just get on highway 6 and head up the pass for some of the best spring skiing. You won’t have to dig your car out of the snow when you have it parked in Gateway’s underground parking garage. This Gateway Studio will be perfect for your next adventure in Keystone!
