New Developments in Keystone

If anyone has ever told you that Keystone Ski Resort is a dead end and that build-out of the Keystone Valley is nearly complete, think again.  Keystone Ski Resort has been in the spotlight of much hype and rumors in recent years.

Here are some of the major projects that have already happened or that are being planned for Keystone Ski Resort.  All of these projects are centered around convenience for guests to get to the slopes in a faster fashion, with the overall goal being to create as much ski-in ski-out real estate as possible, while still preserving the quaintness that Keystone Resort has built a reputation on over the years.

Townhomes at the Alders

This new development is on the East end of Keystone and accessible via Montezuma Road.  Just a 10 minute walk along a bike path will get you into the middle of River Run where all the action is, however it is far enough away to be a quiet retreat away from the ski slopes and all the busy areas.  This area can be a true retreat for you and your guests.

River Run Townhomesevelopment of the new Mountain House base area

Located on East Keystone Road, right next to Snake River Townhomes is River Run Townhomes.  These beautiful and mordern townhomes are just a few minues walking to the ski lifts and many feature a private garage.  Views from this neighborhood are stunning and will delight anyone with a full on view of Dercum Mountain.

 

One River Run – Keystone Colorado

 

This building has had many rumors and much hype, but it’s not yet built.  When the Gondola was moved in 2008 across the river to where it is today, the Hunki Dori parking lot was also under construction at the same time putting in all the essential utilities for a new building.  The recession hit in 2008, leaving this project on hold and in an unknown status.  What we do  know is that Vail Resorts could make much more money from selling the land to a developer than continuing to maintain a parking lot which is only busy during ski season.
