Summit County's Annual Free Recycling Event Saturday, May 19

Summit County will be hosting its annual free drop-off recycling event this Saturday, May 19, 2018.  As the spring cleaning begins, take the time to properly recycle your electronics, household hazardous waste, textiles and pharmaceuticals for free at the Summit Stage Bus Barn in Frisco.  Help us keep our area pristine and safe for everyone who lives, loves, visits and plays in the mountains!   Attention SummitCove Homeowners! Now is the time to replace your TV's and throw out any old paint buckets, batteries or cleaners that you don't need anymore.  Guests are looking for new electronics in their vacation rental condos and those big thick flat screens or even worse- tube tv's are not things that belong in rental properties anymore.  Use this opportunity to get rid of the old stuff and bring in the new! The SummitCove maintenance team would be happy to schedule the installation of new equipment, as well as hauling away the old items for you, just give us a call.  If you are not currently on our rental program, our maintenance team is still available to contract work with, call us at (970) 368-7023 for more information regarding our non-rental property services available in Keystone. [caption id="attachment_28170" align="alignnone" width="600"] No tube tv's here![/caption]   This recycling event is free to all Summit County residents and property owners. Collection takes place from 8 am - 2 pm at the Summit Stage Bus Barn, 0222 County Shops Rd., Frisco, next to the County Commons, just be sure to bring a proof of residence.  This event encourages safe recycling so hazardous items don't end up in our water supply.  This day is scheduled in conjunction with a county-wide cleanup day, where people will go out and collect litter on highways, trails and within our neighborhoods in Keystone and Summit County in prep for summer.  Do your part and recycle responsibility and consider volunteering for clean up day! We thank you in advance for your efforts.
