If you are looking for a fun way to spend the weekend, look no further! The Blue Ribbon Bacon Tour is back for its 5th year here in Keystone and with every year brings more popularity and additions to this unique summer festival. Where else can you eat as much bacon as your heart desires in one of Colorado’s most beautiful settings!?
All weekend long, dance your butt off (or burn off all that bacon?) to free live music from Gypsy Moon, Rob Drabkin, Josh Blackburn , Arthur Lee Land, Hell’s Belles and Zoso – The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience. Join in on bacon themed seminars to learn about the many ways to prepare and use bacon, you can even earn a ‘Bacon Diploma!’
Get ready to try plenty of traditional bacon with the unlimited strip sampling as well as some of the more not-so-traditional ‘taste’ dishes like bacon cupcakes or bacon sushi! One tasting ticket gets you one taste- one dish from one of the many vendors at the festival, including some of Keystone’s most popular restaurants. The Bacon Bloody Mary Bar is a blast and a great to wash down your meal or try a refreshing cucumber vodka to offset your meat intake with some crisp veggie flavor!
There are multiple ticket options available, depending on how much bacon you want to eat, from the Piglet Package geared for kids all the way up to the Hungry Hog for those who aren’t messin’ around. The kids ‘Piglet’ package includes 3 tasting tickets, unlimited strip samples and a lemonade. The mid-level ‘Samplin’ Swine’ package offers 2 beers or non-alcoholic beverages, unlimited strip samplings and 4 tasting tickets, while the ‘Hungry Hog’ top-tier package offers unlimited strip samplings, 2 beers or non-alcoholic beverages, 8 tasting tickets, PLUS participation in the festival’s Whiskey Tour (must be 21yrs of age to participate in the whiskey tour!).
