Keystone Wine and Jazz This Weekend

 

Get your grape on this weekend, July 15th and 16th at the annual Keystone Wine and Jazz Festival. This weekend is definitely a favorite amongst the locals!  Wine and Jazz Fest is jam packed with fun events like Prosecco and Pancakes, Flat Irons Jazz Orchestra, wine tastings and so much more!  Wine and cheese along with other food pairings will be happening throughout the entire weekend along with some amazing reserve wine tastings! Looking for some other activities to do this weekend?  On Friday, head up to the top of the mountain for the Friday Afternoon Club, with live music from Dewey Paul.  Spend the afternoon hiking around, enjoying the views and playing yard games such as cornhole, slacklining or ladder golf! On Saturday, take the kids to tie-dye a t-shirt from 3 – 5 pm.  Head out on a bike ride on the beautiful bike path which flows along the Snake River in Keystone.  Ride all the way to Dillon and stop for a cocktail at the Tiki Bar or even ride all the way around the Dillon Reservoir! Prefer to hike? The Keystone Aqueduct Trail is a great trail for all ages that offers great views of Keystone and the Gore Range Mountains.  You may also want to book a whitewater rafting adventure while you are here with Performance Tours rafting.  The activities are endless – but summer is not!  Head to Keystone this weekend for the Wine and Jazz Festival and some fun, before summer is over!

 

Annual Wine and Jazz Festival Returns to Keystone, Colorado in July 2012

 

The Keystone Wine and Jazz Festival, an annual favorite, will return to the resort on July 14th and 15th.  Tickets are available now!  Contact a SummitCove Vacation planner today to reserve your River Run Village Lodging for the event!

On Friday, July 13th, the Top VIP Reserve Wine Tasting will start the festivities.  Tickets are $85 per person including gondola tickets to take you to the Keytop Deck on Dercum Mountain.  With an array of fine wines and gourmet appetizers, the tasting will take place from 6pm to 8pm.

Enrich your knowlege of wine with seminars and tastings.  Learn about harmonize wine with food, and enjoy live music from Hazel Miller, Elan Trotma and Lin Roundree, Dotsero, and more.  The festival is scheduled from 1-5 pm on Saturday and Sunday in Keystone Resort’s River Run Village.

Cost is free for music and admission with a wine tasting glass purchase.  The cost of a Tasting Glass is $60 per person for one day, or $100 for a 2 day pass.  Seminar tickets area available separately for  $20, and they will sell out so secure yours as soon as possible!
