New to Night Skiing? Check it Out at Keystone Resort Colorado

Night skiing at Keystone Ski Resort has been open since Thanksgiving.  Keystone Resort is one of the only resorts in Colorado to offer night skiing, meaning you get the most value for your lift tickets with some ski days lifts being open for almost 12 hours!  Night skiing is open on a varying schedule, typically Wednesday – Sunday nights through March and then every night March 7 – April 1st.  Night skiing is also open every night until 8pm over the holidays, today through January 7, 2018.

Ski under the lights while Night Skiing at Keystone. See the weekly Saturday night fireworks from the slopes!

If you haven’t ever gone night skiing, it is alot of fun! Bright lights run along the sides of the open runs and light the way. We recommend wearing a yellow highlight goggle lens and dressing warm in layers. Typically there are fewer people out on the mountain, so you’ll often feel like you have the whole mountain or run to yourself!

Head out for night skiing on Saturday evenings for a prime view of the weekly Kidtopia fireworks, which are launched from mid-mountain.  This will be a one-of-a-kind experience that you’ll never forget!  After night skiing, warm up with a hot chocolate near the firepit in River Run Village or stop into one of the amazing restaurants for a hot dinner!

Keystone Resort is unique in so many ways, with its night skiing, tubing hill, Kidtopia events, ice skating and more.  You and your family will have an amazing and memorable vacation at Keystone Resort! Book your Keystone Lodging with SummitCove today at

One of our favorite things about Keystone Resort is Night Skiing! Keystone offers visitors with one of Colorado’s longest ski days- you can ski or ride long after nearly all the other mountains close.  Your lift ticket is good all day and into the night!   Watch the sun set over the beautiful Rocky Mountains while enjoying a few more runs. The serenity of the mountain at night is a completely different unique experience than what you get during the day.  Check out the schedule below for night skiing hours and dates and be sure to try it at least once during your visit to Keystone!
