Keystone Wine & Jazz Festival is Coming Up This Weekend!

Sip and taste until your heart and taste buds are content at the 2018 Keystone Wine and Jazz Festival, happening this weekend on July 14 & 15! Purchase a lodging and ticket festival package to save up to 15% on the weekend.  Hurry though, packages are only on sale through 2 pm on Friday!

Wine and Jazz Festival Keystone Resort

Attendants of this long-running classic Colorado festival can taste over 300 varieties of wine.  There will be reds, whites and even bubbly versions available for tasting all day long with the purchase of a one-day or weekend glass pass for the Grand Tasting event in River Run Village.

 

The weekend kicks off on Friday night with the Warren Station Reserve Wine Tasting, with tasting from 7 – 9 and music going until 10 pm.  You’ll enjoy rare and hard to find glasses at this event.  Wine specialists will be on hand to help guide you through the evening, tasting as you enjoy appetizers, music and a raffle, with prizes awarded every 30 minutes. Prizes include event tickets and of course, bottles of wine! Purchase a ticket here!

 

On Saturday, head to the main event which runs from 12 – 5, with wine tasting and food vendors starting at 1.  Saturday’s lineup includes Gregory Goodloe, Will Donato, Tony Exum Jr., and the Althea Rene Band. Additional tickets are available to attend wine seminars.  On Saturday try ‘Sniffing and Swirling – the Nose Knows’ from 12:30 – 1:30, ‘Bubbles of the World’ from 3 – 4, and finally ‘Let’s Talk Tequila – shaken, stirred and straight’ happening from 4 – 5 pm. Keystone’s world class restaurants will also be providing amazing dishes throughout the village.  On Sunday, get up early for some breakfast and bubbly at the revered ‘Prosecco and Pancakes’ seminar from 10:30 – 12 pm. Enjoy music from JJ Sansaverino, Will Donato, Jeff Kashiwa Band, and festival favorite Dotsero! In the afternoon check out ‘Off the Beaten Path’ where you will explore lesser known regions and grape varietals.

 

This is a family friendly event and there is a Kidszone area open from 1 – 5 pm on both days of the event.  Kids can have their faces painted, have fun with balloon animals, do arts and crafts and more.

If fun and great weather are what you love, than the Keystone Wine & Jazz Festival today is a sure bet. It’s not too late to join in on the fun today. The Sunday schedule still has plenty of entertainment with four concerts, a wine tasting, wine seminar and lots of delicious festival food from local venders. My favorite food that I tried from yesterday was the crab stuffed ravioli smothered in cheese and I can’t wait to get over there and find out what my new favorite will be today.

We all sampled a myriad of red and white wines which flow in abundance as you walk through the festival and why wouldn’t it with over 300 varieties of wine available. Come on out to the festival today with your friends or family. Parking is free and located across from the venue, close and easy.
