Sip and taste until your heart and taste buds are content at the 2018 Keystone Wine and Jazz Festival, happening this weekend on July 14 & 15! Purchase a lodging and ticket festival package to save up to 15% on the weekend. Hurry though, packages are only on sale through 2 pm on Friday!
Attendants of this long-running classic Colorado festival can taste over 300 varieties of wine. There will be reds, whites and even bubbly versions available for tasting all day long with the purchase of a one-day or weekend glass pass for the Grand Tasting event in River Run Village.
The weekend kicks off on Friday night with the Warren Station Reserve Wine Tasting, with tasting from 7 – 9 and music going until 10 pm. You’ll enjoy rare and hard to find glasses at this event. Wine specialists will be on hand to help guide you through the evening, tasting as you enjoy appetizers, music and a raffle, with prizes awarded every 30 minutes. On Saturday, head to the main event which runs from 12 – 5, with wine tasting and food vendors starting at 1. Saturday’s lineup includes Gregory Goodloe, Will Donato, Tony Exum Jr., and the Althea Rene Band. Additional tickets are available to attend wine seminars. On Saturday try ‘Sniffing and Swirling – the Nose Knows’ from 12:30 – 1:30, ‘Bubbles of the World’ from 3 – 4, and finally ‘Let’s Talk Tequila – shaken, stirred and straight’ happening from 4 – 5 pm. Keystone’s world class restaurants will also be providing amazing dishes throughout the village. On Sunday, get up early for some breakfast and bubbly at the revered ‘Prosecco and Pancakes’ seminar from 10:30 – 12 pm. Enjoy music from JJ Sansaverino, Will Donato, Jeff Kashiwa Band, and festival favorite Dotsero! In the afternoon check out ‘Off the Beaten Path’ where you will explore lesser known regions and grape varietals.
This is a family friendly event and there is a Kidszone area open from 1 – 5 pm on both days of the event. Kids can have their faces painted, have fun with balloon animals, do arts and crafts and more.

Wine lovers are in for a nice treat this weekend at Keystone’s Winter Wine Weekend, hosted at Warren Station on Saturday, February 16th & Sunday, February 17th from 7-9 pm. Saturday night’s schedule features a wine tasting, food and live jazz music from the Will Donato Trio. Look forward to dishes like jerk pork summer rolls, slow roasted short ribs and Asian-style samosas. On Sunday, enjoy a hands on cooking demo with well-known Summit County Chef, Mr. Chris Rybak. There will be wine pairing and a New Zealand themed dinner, featuring dishes like crab and shrimp salad on citrus scented quinoa and braised New Zealand lamb shank.
Tickets can be purchased in advance online or at the door, advanced tickets online are $30 per person for Saturday Night and $55 per person on Sunday night, or you can purchase both nights for just $80 per person. If you are looking for lodging close to the event, The Springs, Red Hawk, Silver Mill and Black Bear condos are just steps away from Keystone’s Warren Station where the event is taking place. This event will be a great opportunity to learn about wine, taste some new varieties and enjoy some fine cuisine in a fun atmosphere with other wine enthusiasts!
Savour the Slopes is a new culinary festival this season at Keystone Resort. Every day features samplings of food, wine, and beer from some of Keystone’s signature dining restaurants. Each tasting event is just $20 and they are held at various locations around the resort, starting at 4:30 pm. The events are broken up into three categories: Food from January 18 – 27, Wine from January 28 – February 3, and Beer and Spirits from February 4 -10. See the schedule below for all of the details!
