Thanksgiving Weekend in Keystone

There is nothing like spending the holidays in a beautiful mountain town like Keystone. There is something about the environment here in the high country that really brings out the holiday cheer. Whether it is the perfectly placed snow resting on the leaves of a Pine tree in your front yard or the festive christmas lights in the village, this is a very special place to celebrate any time.

The weekend after Thanksgiving is a great time for the whole family to be visiting Keystone. Kidtopia will kick off its season on Friday, November 27th with games, a scavenger hunt, a mini parade and more! The Kidtopia headquarters is located inside of the Expedition Station right inside of the village. The kids fun will continue on Saturday with a FULL day of activities, with the Welcome Winter Family Carnival, Riperoo parade and of course fireworks over the village at 7pm. Did I mention that it's all free?  See the full Keystone Events Calendar here.

While the kids are having fun painting faces and ice skating to music, the adults are invited to one of the many restaurants and bars for a drink and some food or to dance to live music with Coral Creek at Warren Station. By the time the fireworks are blasting into the mountain sky and lighting up the whole village, there will be families and friends everywhere enjoying the night. Make sure you don't head back to your condo without seeing Santa and telling him what you really want for Christmas this year. There will be freshly baked cookies and hot chocolate available as well so don't miss out on that.

No matter what time of the year you visit Keystone there are always fun things to do but there is just something unique about spending the holidays in our lovely mountain town. Come see for yourself and make this Thanksgiving one that you and your family will remember for years to come.  If you book your Thanksgiving stay by Monday, November 23, you can take 20% off a 4 night stay or 10% off 3 or fewer nights.  Check out the details of our Thanksgiving Lodging sale here.   Written By: Patrick Foley
