It’s a great idea! This year’s summer schedule is packed with heaping helpings of family fun, from the KIDTOPIA Kids Theater to Kids Fest, Discovery Days and the Super Slimy Science Club.
Parents don’t have to worry about keeping the kiddos entertained, and everyone can make lasting memories together. It all starts with Discovery Days, every Tuesday at River Run Village. Families can sit back and watch concerts and performances, or take part in face painting, games and bounce castles at the midway.
The fun continues Fridays, as River Run Village hosts matinee performances of Pinocchio at the KIDTOPIA Kids Theater.
Then, join the Keystone Science School on Saturday mornings for the Super Slimy Science Club, a hands-on exploration of all things water. Youngsters can hunt for water bugs and do chemical tests as they learn about the chemical and biological processes of Colorado’s waterways.
Visit on select Saturdays to take part in Kids Fest! It’s a free, all-day celebration loaded with activities — camel rides, a foam pit, hydro blaster, photo booth, train rides, caricatures, balloon artists, face painters, spin art and more! Each week has a special theme.
And just in case you were wondering if it was all kid stuff — there’s plenty of grownup activities too. View the entire schedule of events and festivals in Keystone and Summit County.
