What to Expect When Visiting Keystone This Summer

We are now back open for lodging in Keystone! Current public health orders are continuing to change frequently.  We ask that our guests read through our current public health orders prior to arriving so you will know what to expect during your visit to Keystone. All areas of the US do not have the same orders in place, so please familiarize yourself with what Colorado and Summit County currently require and recommend before you get here.
  • Face masks are required in all indoor public places, as well as outdoors when you are unable to maintain a safe 6 foot distance from others.
  • Practice physical distancing.
  • Wash your hands with soap for 20 seconds often.
  • Take off your shoes at the door in your rental property.
Activities & Dining Some events and festivals have already been cancelled and some may still be cancelled or postponed. Keystone Resort activities are not currently open.  The resort has announced it will be reopening some activities on June 19th.  Summit County hiking and biking trails are open and available for use. The River Golf course in Keystone is also now open.  The Lake Dillon Marinas are open. Most restaurants are now open and currently operating at reduced 50% occupancy in all dining establishments.  Advanced reservations are recommended and many restaurants are offering expanded outdoor seating and take out options.   New Drive Through Check-In SummitCove Lodging is now operating a drive-through check-in.  When you arrive in Keystone at our office, please remain in your vehicle and call us. Signage is posted outside our office with instructions. We will go through important information with you over the phone and then bring out the check-in packet to your car. Our offices are closed to the public, but we are open by phone 24 hours a day.   Cleaning Our housekeeping teams have always been using sanitization practices that have been approved and follow all guidelines from the CDC.  Our linens are professionally cleaned to hospital grade quality in a commercial cleaning facility and then sealed for delivery as soon as they are laundered. Our housekeeping teams have been fully trained on proper cleaning techniques, paying special attention to high-touch areas and following all CDC, VRHP, and ALHA guidelines. Our employees wear masks and disposable gloves while inside all buildings and rooms. All rooms are professionally cleaned and sanitized and followed up by an additional inspection process where additional sanitization may occur.  In addition to hand soaps, we are also now providing guests with a bottle of disinfectant solution that is on the EPA list for approved use against COVID-19 to use as needed during their stay.  Rooms will be vacant for at least 24 hours between reservations.  Beds will be made with sheets and blankets only - additional blankets, throw pillows and comforters will be put away in the closet. We highly encourage guests to bring their own blankets and comforters if possible. Lastly, we ask guests to please take off shoes at the door in our rental properties.   Guest Services If you need assistance with something during your stay, we will do our best to first try and solve it over the phone.  If in-person service is required, we ask that the guest vacate the property and open the windows before we come in.  Any items that need to be delivered will be dropped off on the porch or doorstep.   Guest Amenities Hot tubs, pools, saunas and many shared common areas may be closed during your stay.  The decision for these facilities to be open or closed are up to each Homeowners Association and SummitCove Lodging has no control over these facilities.  Private hot tubs will still be open and available for guests.    Additional travel information and public health guidelines can be found at: Latest Summit County Public Health Order State of Colorado COVID-19 Information We look forward to hosting you again in Keystone this summer!
