27th Annual Wine in the Pines Wine & Culinary Event
An offer you can't refuse. The 27th Annual Wine in the Pines occurs October 22 and 23 and goes to benefit the local United Cerebral Palsy Colorado organization. The event is sponsored by Dillon Ridge Liquors and Keystone Resort! Now a bit more about the Wine in the Pines event.
The Wine in the Pines 2010 is a celebration of the wine and work of Francis Ford Coppola, the genius behind the Godfather and other popular works. The two day event is Godfather themed and begins Friday evening (Oct. 22) with Pearls and Pinstripes and the legendary Winemaker's Dinner! The premier sponsor party is held at the Keystone Ranch Restaurant and those privileged enough to enjoy the dinner will be treated to one of the most famous restaurants in Keystone.
The dinner begins with champagne and hors d'oeuvres by the fireplace of the iconic and rustic lodge. The evening progresses with Chef Jason Kassib's famous culinary expertise and will present dishes elegantly paired with Coppola reserve wines. This spectacular five course dining experience will be a celebration for the sponsors and for 27 years of Wine in the Pines events.
On the following day (Saturday Oct. 23), the grand ballroom will be open to a renowned International Wine and Gourmet Foods Tasting at the Keystone Conference Center! The Godfather themed day is full of exquisite culinary creations from chefs and restaurants all over Keystone and beyond, and the food is accompanied by over 500 wines! On this day, there will be live auctions, dancing, live music (provided by The Jerseys!) and much more. Guests are encouraged to wear godfather inspired attire (black tie preferred) or cocktail attire (but please no weapons, real or fake).
