The most expensive way to ski is to buy your lift tickets at the ticket window without any coupons. The following information will help you find the best deal around no matter what time of year.

Colorado Ski Season Passes

If you are in Colorado in April, September or October, you can look into buying a season pass for Keystone, Breckenridge, and A-Basin. Both Loveland and Copper Mountain sell season passes into November. If you plan on skiing 5 or more days, a season pass to one of the areas ski resorts will more than pay for itself and is the cheapest way to go...even though you won't get to use it for the entire season.

SEASON PASS SALES END ON NOVEMBER 11TH 2007 - YOU CANNOT BUY SEASON PASSES AFTER That.....no matter how much you beg.

:: Keystone :: Breckenridge :: A-Basin :: Vail :: Beaver Creek ::

Beaver Creek Discount Lift Tickets and Ski Deals - Purchase Here
Breckenridge Ski Tickets and Lift Ticket Deals - Purchase Here

Season passes are sold along the front range at places like Sports Authority, REI, and Christy Sports. Season passes for Keystone, Breckenridge and A-Basin are called the Summit Pass and cost $409. A 2nd option is to pay $449 for the Colorado Passand get 10 days at Vail or Beaver Creek added to that same pass(black out dates apply). Teens pay $339 and children pay $219 for the Colorado Pass. The Coloraod Pass Plus is an extra $100, and also includes 10 days at Vail or Beaver Creek, but six of those dates are unrestricted. You MUST buy these in person. In past years, you had to use it at least once before the holiday season, or it would become invalid for the rest of the year. This has not been verified for this year, so MAKE SURE you read the fine print in any contracts or agreements that you sign! These passes do have blackout dates during the holidays and during Presidents Day weekend usually, so PLEASE read the fine print before purchasing these ski passes. If you're planning an early season trip (Before December 20th) AND a later prime ski season trip (January - April), this is by far the least expensive way to go. Best of all, once you get a pass that you have to buy in person, you can renew it over the web year after year. Overall, this is one of the best deals out there....take advantag of this today!

:: Arapahoe Basin Only ::

This year, Arapahoe Basin is offering what they call the "Bonus Pass." For the 2007-2008 ski season, these are only $309. This allows unlimited skiing at Arapahoe Basin, but also allows you to ski at Keystone or Breckenridge for 5 days. One of the 5 days can be used at either Vail or Beaver Creek. This is an awesome deal if you're coming out for a short trip of 5 days or more. Best of all, you can buy these over the phone and just pick them up at the base area of Arapahoe Basin. As always, get in on this deal EARLY. The Arapahoe Basin pass is good only at Arapahoe Basin and costs only $259. Check out the Arapahoe Basin Web site for full details.OUT OF STATE PEOPLE - This is going to be your best bet if you plan on skiing 4-5 days this year. Arapahoe Basin is one of our favorites since they offer "The Real Deal" and don't hide behind any shady restrictions. SummitCove.Com also offers lift tickets for Arapahoe Basin at a heavily discounted rate if you buy your lodging from us. We have lodging in Keystone that is within 4-5 miles of Arapahoe Basin, so you can be there within minutes, yet have all the nightlife and fun of Keystone.

Winter Park Discount Lift Tickets - Purchase Here

Copper Mountain is offering season passes for the 2007-2008 ski season for only $369. This pass is good only at Copper Mountain. You must be present to buy these passes, as with the Keystone, Breckenridge and A-basin passes. Add another $40 and you can ski Winter Park and Mary Jane too for $409 for 2 resorts. However, Winter Park is a solid 1 hour drive from Summit County. Still, the skiing at Mary Jane is legendary and you won't be disappointed with your day excursion to the snow pack in the Fraser Valley of Colorado. A Winter Park only pass will run you $379. If you are willing to drive a bit, the Rocky Mountain Super Pass at $509, will allow you to try Steamboat Springs six unrestricted days, plus Fridays after 12:00.

:: Loveland Ski Area ::

Lesser known by people from out of state, Loveland is a very inexpensive option. You'll see Loveland Ski area on your way into Summit County on the East Portal of the Eisenhower Tunnel. The closest ski lodging to Loveland is in Keystone....only 15 miles away. Loveland offered season passes for $319 for the 2007-2008 ski season. Being an in dependant ski resort, you can only ski at Loveland. Loveland is one of the highest ski resorts on North America and they are usually the first to open the ski season in North America in October. Check the web site for details. They have an outstanding variety of terrain and there are little or no crowds at any given time. Loveland is a locals favorite and if you hit a powder day at Loveland, you'll never look anywhere else to go skiing...you'll be in love.

++++++++++++ Warning ++++++++++++

Do not EVER try to use a 4 pack or season pass that is not yours. There are extremely stiff penalties including large fines and possible jail time if you are caught. The lift operators WILL catch you. A free lift ride is simply not worth the consequences.

Colorado Ski Resort "Four Packs"

Another money-saving tip is to buy what is called a "4 pack" for your ski resort of choice. A "4 pack" is 4 days of skiing for any 1 person. Typically the ski resorts sell these early in the season, but have also been known to sell them again in late March or in April. Buying late in the season is ideal...unknown to many, April is usually the snowiest month in Colorado!

FOUR PACK SALES END ON NOV 11TH- YOU CANNOT BUY FOUR PACKS AFTER THAT....no matter how much you beg.

:: Keystone :: Breckenridge ::

For the Keystone and Breckenridge 4 packs, you must buy them in person and they are not transferable. In previous years they have been transferable until people started selling them for a profit on eBay. 4 packs are $149 and are bought in the same fashion that a Keystone Colorado Season Pass is bought. The 4 packs do have blackout dates, so read the fine print carefully.

:: Copper Mountain :: Winter Park :: Mary Jane ::

Copper Mountain offers 4 packs for only $149 for the 2007-2008 ski season. They are making people buy them in person this year so they can "protect your ski days" according to their website. Too bad...you used to be able to buy them without being present, which was an amazing value for any people coming from out of state. Winter Park offers 4 packs for $139 with the same in-person buy story as Copper Mountain.. These passes only allow 1 person to use the pass per day. So...if you're thinking of taking your family of four people on the mountain all in one day, you won't be able to do it with this pass. We're happy to announce that Copper and Winter Park (previously known as IntraWest until another company bought them out in August 2006) came up with a great idea and introduced a "Transfour Pack" which allows you to use transfer your 4 tickets to other people. While this is a step in the right direction, this transfour card still does not allow you to use all 4 tickets in one day. Still, for a family staying 4 days or more, this is a great option. Passes run $199 for WinterPark/Copper Mountain. There are usually rules and restrictions as to the dates you can use the 4 pack, so check the fine print carefully. You can buy all of these types of passes at Passwagon.com.

Once again....all of these passes MUST be bought in person, which hurts those of you who do not live in Colorado. We cannot emphasize enough how important it is to come during September and October to get these great deals. Lodging (especially that offered by SummitCove.com) is extremely inexpensive, restaurants offer 2 for 1 deals all the time, the colors are downright beautiful, and you'll get to see Colorado as the great state that it really is!

:: Loveland Ski Area ::

Loveland also offers a 4 pack as well for the 2007-2008 ski season. The 4 packs run only $109 but are only available through November 23th 2007. There are no blackout dates on these 4 packs and can be used anytime during the 2007-2008 ski season at Loveland. Loveland Ski Area offers a variety of passes depending on your age:

Loveland Ski Area New  Returning
5 and under  FREE FREE
Children (6-14) $139.00 $127.00
Young Adults(15-22) $259.00 $235.00

Midweek $219.00 $197.00

BE CAREFUL - Most other lodging providers will entice you with a "package deal" saying that they will give you discounted lift tickets after your reserve your lodging...only to suddenly "run out" of the lift tickets after they have your money. Occassionally you may find some great deal on a lift ticket....be very careful with these "too good to be true" tickets. They usually come from an employee of Vail Resorts, Inc. and both you and the employee could be prosecuted if you buy them. Just play it safe and do things the legal way and you'll have no worries.

Our lodging is always priced at the best rate possbile and we hope that the information provided to you on this page was useful. Please think of us when you book your lodging.
