Great experience! Extremely convenient for skiing especially with a 7 year old! 2-3 minute walk from River Run gondola with convenient ground level ski storage and nice outdoor hot tub.

Great location, maybe 50 -75 yards from lift. Great area; restaurants/bars really close. Everything we needed in the unit for a quick couple of days. Would definitely rent again.

We’ve stayed at Black Bear numerous times, and the location, accommodations, and management by SummitCove are all absolutely the very best for all of Colorado. Additionally, Black Bear 8052 is one of the nicest layouts with best amenities of all Black Bear rentals…we done 7-8 different rooms there. Highly recommend…it’s the all-around best. It has always a pleasure doing business with Summit Cove. For many years, I use their competitor. However, Summit Cove properties are generally in better shape, and the staff is much more receptive to request, especially when things are not working.

Black Bear Lodge is a great location in the river run Village. Right in the middle of everything and about a two minute walk to the gondola.

The location was perfect for getting quickly to the gondola and back, and giving easy access to restaurants and shops. Condo had everything you could need and was very comfortable. Ski locker for the condo is rather small so we had to keep boots in the condo, and you are on your own if you have more than one vehicle to park, but that seems to be a general Keystone problem.

I have now stayed here twice and will continue to use this condo when in Keystone. During this stay I managed to lock myself out of the condo and the staff had it fixed within minutes. Superb support and communication

Nice place, but would not recommend staying during summer months. Without a deck, and with the windows fixed to not open more than a few inches, it was very hot and stuffy without much ability to get it cooled down until late in the evening.

Perfect for a ski trip, especially with children in ski school. Very close to the River Run gondola and ski school drop off / pickup. Maybe a 2-3 minute walk in boots and carrying gear.
Heated garage, ski lockers on lobby level, and in the middle of the village so easy access to shops and restaurants.

Stayed here last minute as our other rental was under construction. However they were able to upgrade us to the Black bear and it was really nice had everything you need such as spices, dishes, and everything for cooking, also the location was great. Will be staying up there again. The only thing that it could have Made the stay a little bit better would have been air conditioning. The place has no air conditioning. They did provide fans which was very helpful but air conditioning would have made a difference as it is summer but other than that love the place definitely recommend.

Very clean and in a great location. Beds and furnishings were very comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed. Restaurants and groceries are right outside the door in the heart of the village. We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent location and room was perfect. Communication was great with the management company and very easy to communicate with the text messaging. Honestly the only thing I could say with regards to the management company is just texting instructions of the address of where to pick up the keys. Otherwise everything was great and a wonderful first time experience with VRBO.

Good space for family of 4, excellent location to everything you need at the base of the mountain. Super quick walk to gondola and lifts. Close to Inxpot, Crepe Stand & Yummy Cookies and variety of restaurants. Everything you need in kitchen for cooking family meals. Ski lockers a plus! Hot tub & Sauna was a bonus. Plenty of towels and incidentals. Underground parking had plenty of spaces for coming and going too! We used Christy Sports Door to Door for ski rentals and they are across the street if you need anything or returns. There is also a great grocery and liquor store in the square with a decent variety if you do not want to drive to Dillon.

First time to Keystone, great pick for lodging. Easily sleep 5. Well kept and clean. Appliances and bedding all newer. Location in the village was perfect, 2 min walk from the lift, and right across from Crepe Stand and Ixpot. Only reason not 5 star, someone cooked bacon before us and all we could smell for 3 days. Also the hot tub, weird location right along sidewalk where people can all see. Not owners fault but a drawback....and very small hot tub. Would definitely rent again. Not a fan of 10am checkout!

Can’t beat the location for access to the Gondola. The condo does overlook the main square which can get a little noisy during aprés ski. Good value for the convenience it offers.

Super convenient. Black Bear 8052 is less than a minute walk to the gondola and the Keystone Ski School meeting place is right outside. Condo was clean and had everything we needed for meals. We stayed at Black Bear Lodge 8052 in March 2018. I cannot say enough about the location - it’s literally 50 steps out the door of the building to the gondola, and even fewer to most of the restaurants and stores in River Run Village. With two little kids (meaning we were carrying 4 pairs of skis), the proximity was a godsend. The unit was in very good shape, with nice floors, an updated kitchen, great bathrooms - in general a very nice unit. If I had to quibble with anything: the building’s heat makes a loud and slightly weird noise, and sensitive listeners could be bothered. Similarly, the location near everything also means you get some noise at night, as you’re over all the bars and restaurants. A small price to pay, in our opinion. All in all, a great stay and a great unit.

Great location. Unit faces the main venue in River Run. Centrally located to the village and short walking distance to Gondola. Very nice granite top upgrades to all counters in unit. All TV's, cable & WiFi worked first try! Close to Elevator. Economy sized kitchen; we cooked most of our meals inside, never wanting for any cooking missing utensils. Ski locker located ideally by outside ski entrance. Easy access to outlets for ski boot warmer and phone chargers. I'd rent Blackbear 8052 again.

We cook when we come to Keystone because there were 11 of us in 3 condos. Our condo had a very small kitchen. There was no cutting board and very few glasses, maybe 4 of each size. We had to hand wash everything because there weren’t enough dishes to fill the dishwasher. We also ran out of garbage bags because we used one for recycling and only had 2 others for a week’s stay. We do love the location and the accommodations. Thank you.
