Buffalo Lodge 8358

Ice maker didn't work. Clock had no battery, so didn't work. Bath amenities are too few for 2 people for 3 nights. The room was clean, and kitchen well stocked. Good few from the balcony. Enjoyed the hot tub.

Great location. Living room and kitchen are nice. TV over fireplace is very small, with cords everywhere. Bedroom was not comfortable. Bedding was terrible and pillows flat and worthless. TV very small with cords hanging again. Bathroom needs an update. The walls were stained, the toilet seat is old and stained, needs replaced. The sink was small old, and no water pressure.

Bathroom hot water handle broken on arrival, water eventually wouldn’t turn off. I had to turn it off at the valve, then the cold water valve started leaking. It took until to Tue to get fixed. Living room remote would only partially work. Front door wouldn’t shut after 1st day. Smoke detector was hanging by wires in bedroom on check in. Ice maker partially worked during the 6 day stay. 1 skillet was warped, not sure about the rest of them. Have stayed in the same condo approx the last five yrs, won’t stay in it again. It appears the condos are not inspected for issues. Positives: the lady that checked me in was very nice and professional. The office staff and repair staff were very helpful in trying to get items corrected. Finally, had a shower mat. The lady on the phone said she would turn issue over to sales team to see what they do about some kind of monetary refund.

Stayed for the weekend for a ski trip, the apartment was just as described and very clean. The building was nice with pool tables and hot tubs for the guests. Was definitely worth the price paid and would stay here again!

My husband and I stayed here as part of a romantic getaway ski weekend. I cannot rave about this property enough! For me, it was the perfect distance to the slopes and, for my husband, it was the perfect spot in Keystone's ski village. Would highly recommend!

The place was spacious enough for our group with great access to the Keystone restaurants and activities downstairs. We even had a nice view of the mountain. Because of the area can be a little noisy during the evenings, but it quieted down around 9 or 10. The room had everything we needed- extra blankets, a fan, a vacuum and kitchen supplies. We stayed for a few days so the only thing I wish we had more of was a trash bin or a place to dump our trash within the building. Otherwise, we had a great time and would definitely come back again.

I was staying in Keystone for the Das Bier Burner 5K race - what an AWESOME event & this condo was perfect to be right in the middle of it all! The balcony looks out right over the end of the race!

Wife and I spent 3 nights in Buffalo Lodge 8358. We normally stay at hotels (last time we stayed at Keystone Resort and Spa) and this was our first time renting a condo (we wanted to be on the slopes). Room was perfect size for a couple and exactly as advertised (we booked through Summit); clean, full kitchen, view of ski slopes and River Run Village from the balcony and couch, and a very short walk to the lifts (literally like a 3-5 minute walk in full ski gear). Pool and spas at the Dakota Lodge were also very accessible and provided great views of the ski runs (pool was heated!...wish we hadn't waited until the last day to checkout the pool and spas). Parking was also convenient but not very well labeled (hint: its around back UNDER the lodge). We loved being in the Village and in the center of all the activity, but the location of the room could be an issue for couples seeking peace and quiet (not us)...bar music and people outside were pretty noisy until 10:00pm Friday and Saturday. Room also got really hot at night requiring us to crack a window. Additionally, I would bring better sheets with me next time as the bed was pretty scratchy, but after a full day of skiing it wasn't hard to fall asleep. We also stocked up on food and drinks in Denver before arriving in Keystone, I would advise the same for anyone else visiting as the markets in Keystone are very limited and SUPER expensive. Starting the morning with a pot of coffee and a homemade breakfast was a nice change from having to order room service or trying to buy something at a restaurant. Great trip! Looking forward to doing it all again next year.
