Travelers:Family of 3 (parents + a lively 1.5-year-old) Overall Rating: 4.5/5 Stars – An outstanding, convenient base for a family winter holiday, even without hitting the slopes. We booked this trip for the mountain atmosphere and winter fun, not to ski. This condo was the perfect, low-hassle home base for our family's festive getaway, offering ease and activities that catered perfectly to our toddler. Why It Was Ideal for Our Family: ✅ Zero-Stress Location & Transportation: · The free, frequent shuttle right outside which can be very helpful for families to get to and from the base villages without ever needing the car, avoiding car seats and parking. · Prime Access to Festive Fun: We loved being a short walk from River Run Village. The highlight was the Winterfest activities—our toddler adored the free cookies and hot cocoa, the kid-friendly crafts, and getting a picture with Santa. It was the perfect dose of holiday magic. ✅ Family-Centric Design & Amenities: · Childcare Options Noted: We noticed several reputable in-room childcare services advertised in the host's guide. While we didn't use them this trip, knowing this vetted option exists makes us much more likely to book here again for a potential parents' night out. · On-Site Entertainment: The indoor play area and game room were great for burning off energy. · Responsive Management: We had a minor issue where the pedestal sink in the main bathroom drained very slowly. A quick call to the on-site management resulted in a maintenance visit and it was fixed promptly. Excellent service. One Consideration to Note: · The master bed's comfort could be improved. The mattress had a noticeable "hammock" effect where movement disturbs the other sleeper. We managed, but light sleepers should be aware. Final Verdict: This stay confirmed that you don't need to be skiers to have a fantastic mountain vacation with a young child. The combination of easy shuttle access, fantastic family festivals like Winterfest, on-site pools, and the availability of trusted childcare services makes this unit a top contender for families seeking a mix of relaxation and holiday fun. The quick response to maintenance issues was also reassuring. We left feeling festive, relaxed, and already talking about a return trip—next time, maybe taking advantage of those childcare services for a quiet dinner. Tip for Non-Skier Families: Check the local event calendars for Keystone's Winterfest and similar family events—they are incredible and often free. The shuttle makes attending them effortless.

We loved our stay at this condo. The beds were comfortable and its nice that there were 2 separate bathrooms and showers. Well stocked, comfortable furniture, and a well-designed layout. Also, the sauna/steam room + heated pool and jacuzzi were great to have after a long day of hitting the slopes.

We absolutely loved our stay with SummitCove. The place was cozy and clean and had most of what we needed- cute little balcony, kitchen supplies, fireplace, amazing showers, and a common area hot tub and heated pool.

The location was great for accessing the ski slopes and ski rental. Walking distance to all including the restaurants and shopping. The pool was heated, the hot tub working, and there was a pool table that the kids played on.

This condo is fantastic. Comfortably sleeps six people. Within walking distance of the gondola because it is inside the village. Easy access and has a great parking situation inside the garage. The management company is amazing and we will definitely come back here.
