Jack Pine 8016

SC has a good staff but seems to defer too easily to the guest App instead of giving a similar verbal explanation when asked a question, such as directions to the property garage. The App didn't work for the our express check-out. The maintenance staff member that helped us was friendly, quick and helpful. The JP Condos have a great location relative to the Keystone Gondola and the ski locker area (with convenient bathroom) and back gate made it simple to get to/from the gondola. JP 8016 faces away from the River Run village with great view of mountains and large balcony. We did not experience excessive outside noise from the village which we have in other condos such as Dakota. There are only about 20 condos at JP so there was always room in the hot tub. However, the Kickapoo restaurant and ski shop staff back entrances are on that side as well and their staff smoke on that side which was annoying when using the hot tub. The parking spaces are very tight for parking large vehicles such as trucks, which is typical of the River Run condos. JP 8016 is a good unit and there are just some minor issues that keep it from being a great unit. The comments are intended to be constructive. JP 8016 is spacious 2 bedroom unit with large master bedroom/bathroom and large walk-in shower. We also liked that they had two beds in the second bedroom which is not common in 2 bedroom condos. The reclining living room chairs are very comfy but are bulky and should be kept along the wall as in the picture to allow for walking through the unit. Unfortunately, the unit itself is a bit tired and abused from being a rental. The closets were cluttered with extra "stuff" and the owners keep maintenance items (paint cans and replacement floor tiles) in the closets, cabinets and under the master bed which seems odd and inconvenient as there is limited storage. There is no sitting area at the entrance or area to store ski boots so we had to improvise. We recommend a refresh on the paint scheme/color, adding boot pans by the door, clean out the closets, cabinets and kitchen junk drawer of unnecessary stuff, adding a dresser to the master bedroom or replacing it from the huge armoire, replace the tiny nightstands with ones that are a bit bigger as well as replacing the wobbly lamps in the master bedroom, put some sliders on the bottoms of the dining room table chairs to protect the floor from scuffs and scraps. As stated, the unit is good and with some minor changes, it can be great. We will stay in Jack Pine if we come again when there is more snow.

This was our 1st time in Keystone. This condo was in an awesome location! Close to the gondola, restaurants, shops and more. Not only that it was perfect for our family of 4. The owners were super nice and responsive. They even helped to find and return an item I left on property. Highly reccomend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Keystone resort Wine and Jazz festival.. our first time to stay at the resort. Check in and check out was easy and information provided was helpful. Our condo was clean and updated baths were nice! Ceiling fans were a plus with the very warm temps and the nice wood floors. The view from our balcony was wonderful…. Like being in a treehouse and you can hear the river flowing… so relaxing!! There was some items that should be replaced or repaired. Overall very nice condo!

Wonderful homelike condo, beautifully decorated, spacious, great attention to detail, fully equipped kitchen with supplies for cleaning, bathrooms with supplies, even humidifiers ready to use. We love the downstairs ski storage lockers and the hot tub as well. The slopes are very close, shops and restaurants downstairs in the village. By far, our favorite skiing resort and hotel.

Had a great stay in Keystone at Jack Pine. The condo was a great size for 4 people and very comfortable. The location to the ski slope and village can't be beat! Would definitely stay here again.

Overall this place was great. It is the closest building to the gondola and less then 5 minute walk. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The Summit Cove staff was great and the check in/out process was very simple. The downside is that the unit was hot even with the heater off. We slept with the windows open most of the time and it was usually around 20 degrees at night.

When we arrived and got the keys to Jack Pine 8013 and Jack Pine 8016, my wife found a barbecue grill in the Livingroom in one unit and a dirty face cloth hanging from the shower head in the second unit. She called the Summit Cove representative to report this. The Summit Cove representative and housekeeping staff responded quickly to correct these problems, which meant a lot to us.

Great place! The room was missing the pullout couch as advertised but the management company rectified the issue ASAP. Very easy to work with and helpful. Ski in ski out was amazing! Would definitely stay again.

We didn't get off to a food start. After picking up the keys and going to the garage the keys did not work. WE got in as someone was leaving and called the office and someone did come over to deliver new keys. The condo was basically nice and clean. There was not nearly enough light in the bedrooms particularly the master bedroom it was very hard to see with the existing light supplied. I had to take the lamp shades off to get a little more light which was still not enough. I wasn't sure why I paid a maids fee and then asked to empty the garbage. That didn't make sense to me. Location was great. After all my above complaining I would probably stay there again.

Hi Paul, thank you for letting us know about the lighting, we will pass that note along to the owner. We ask that you empty the garbage since you are most likely heading down to your car on the way out anyway and the trash bins are located right there. It's not mandatory just helps out our housekeeping team to move faster and make sure we get properties ready for the next arrival quicker. Hope to see you again soon!

Our room was ready and clean when we arrived. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Kitchen was updated, bathrooms were a little dated, but clean. Would like to have opened windows in bedrooms, but there were some holes in the screen. Overall good visit. Would recommend.

Enjoyed the stay. Thank you for the great service. I had two rooms reserved. One was ready and the other not. Rather than making us wait, the nice young lady said she would deliver the keys for the 2nd room later that day. We enjoyed an afternoon of skiing and she delivered. I am coming back next year. Thank you

Great location. Nice unit. Big balcony with great view. Updated kitchen. Bathrooms are a little dated but fine. Garage parking and free wi-Fi are a plus.
