We have stayed in the building 3 times and this condo was by far the best one! Best location, great view of skiers, nicely updated, had everything needed, Plenty of closet and storage. Same floor as the ski lockers making it super convenient. Just the right amount of space for a family of 5.

My family and I stayed there over the Easter Holidays. The location was fabulous, the amenities were comparable to our home and garage underneath was the ticket. God must have smiled on us and sent us fresh snow over the Easter Weekend. Being from Louisiana we were hoping and praying that our children would get to see snow falling for the first time. This ski in/out condo was great and the lobby always had granola bars and hot chocolate available for our use.

Smallish condo, with one king and 1 queen, 2 full baths and one hot tub inside. Plenty of towels, blankets and wonderful ski locker. Fireplace was great. A little skimpy on dishwasher powder, soap, kleenex and shampoo. 3 of 4 humidifiers worked, but location, location, location. Great little walk to River Run for good restaurants and shopping. Elevator was broken, luckily this unit was just one flight up. Complementary tea and hot chocolate all day long and heated garage with great ski locker! Bring ear plugs and sleep mask for the snow cats at night! True Ski in ski out!

Pros: Lone Eagle was a nice ski in/ski out property located at the base next to the gondolas/ski lift. Within walking distance to anything in River Run. Great ski lockers, hot tub, small pool. The common areas were very nice with fire pits, fireplaces and tea, coffee and hot chocolate provided in the lobby. Two very nice size bedrooms and bathrooms. Pull-out couch for 2 more guests. Very nice having a washer and dryer in the condo. Kitchen was pretty well-equipped and very functional for cooking meals. With a W/D readily available we had plenty of towels, etc. Cons: For 4 people the accommodations would be great. For 6 it was very cramped. In addition, if your whole crew is not totally focused on skiing, consider another nice, less expensive location. The ski slope maintenance from about midnight until 7 a.m. Is extremely disturbing to sleep! We had to use ear plugs even though everyone was totally exhausted every night. If you aren't focused on skiing for your entire stay, being this close to the action is not necessary. So many other nice areas that are less expensive and super close as well. It was in the 20's at night and around 40 during the day. We had windows open ALL the time. It was overly warm in the condo and the thermostat was all the way down. As I said, there definitely pros and cons. Really depends on personal preferences and priorities for your trip. We were skiing "newbies" and didn't need the total focus on location.

Great location. Has many amenities one would need for cooking at home. Needs maintenance on some light fixtures and toilet.

Lone Eagle is by far the best location at Keystone. Ski lockers, hot tub, it is all built around being a great ski location. Lone Eagle 3000 is a great condo. First floor is nice. Shortest walk to everything. Has everything as described. But the real key is the location. Once you stay at Lone Eagle you won’t want to stay anywhere else.

This place was better than expected! This is true ski in / out with accurate amenities and description. River run village rates were higher and this place was much better. Shuttle takes you wherever you need to go for free

Our family enjoyed our stay at Lone Eagle 3000 over Christmas break. The condo is well maintained and clean. The location cannot be beat. It is a perfect location to ski-in and ski-out. Although the condo is next to the common area, ski locker and elevator, we were undisturbed in the condo by the expected activity. It proved to be the best of both worlds. It was so convenient to be steps from the pool, hot tub, and ski locker. Our young teens enjoyed being able to come and go as they pleased. The check-in staff were friendly and knowledgable. We look forward to a return visit to Lone Eagle 3000 with SummitCove!
