Night Skiing at Keystone Resort
One great thing about choosing Keystone as your mountain of choice is the night skiing! Your Keystone lift ticket is good from open to close and includes night skiing at no extra charge, offering the most bang for your buck in Colorado Lift Tickets. You can ski or ride long after nearly all the other mountains close. Watch the sunset over the beautiful Rocky Mountains while getting in a few more runs and stop in for a cup of hot chocolate to warm up in between laps.
Night skiing has limited dates, so be sure to check the schedule for hours and availability before you go.
Keystone is one the only ski resorts in Colorado that offers night skiing which is great if you arrive in Keystone a little later in the day. Make sure your legs are in shape! If you time it perfectly, at about 4pm, a group of grooming snow cats arrive at the top of Dercum Mountain. As the Snowcats arrive, the ski patrol lowers the ropes and you’ll have fresh groomed “corduroy” to ski on for the rest of the evening. Keep riding a lift to the top of Dercum Mountain and you could even get another fresh ride down “Spring Dipper” as the snowcats arrive at the top again. Don’t miss it!
