5th and 6th Grade Passport and School of Shred Programs

If your family has kids in 5th or 6th grade, you might want to take advantage of some great deals on passes now that ski season in Colorado has officially begun.  Colorado Ski Country offers the 5th and 6th Grade Passport while Vail Resorts will offer the School of Shred program.  This is a great opportunity to hit the slopes as a family and save some money!

The 2011/2012 School of Shred Pass

The 11/12 School of Shred program provides 4 FREE days of skiing or riding at each of the state's top-ranked resorts Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin for all Colorado fifth and sixth grade students who register by November 6, 2011. Returning this year, the School of Shred pass included one complimentary first-timer ski lesson and rental equipment for pass holders (Arapahoe Basin excluded). Lessons and rentals are to be provided from 11/28/11-12/18/11, as well as during the entire month of January as a part of "Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month".

How To Get Your Pass
• Bring your 5th or 6th grade report card to a Front Range or Resort Pass Sales location or any Special Event by November 6, 2011.
• Get your photo taken.
• Your free first-timer lesson and rental are automatically loaded on your pass.
• Go home with your free pass! It's that easy. Simply go directly to the lift on each day you plan to ski or ride.
How To Redeem Your Free First-Timer Lesson & Rental
You do not need to make an advanced reservation for the free first timer lesson & rental. Simply bring your School of Shred pass to the ski and snowboard school of your choice. For more information please call:

Colorado Ski Country 5th and 6th Grade Passport

Every child who lives in Colorado has the opportunity to learn how to ski or snowboard with the  Colorado Ski Country USA 5th and 6th grade passport program! The 5th Grade Passport is FREE! It includes 3 days of skiing/boarding at each of the 21 member resorts. The 6th Grade Passport is just $99 (they get an extra day at each resort)!

Participating ski resorts include:  Arapahoe Basin, Aspen Highlands, Aspen Mountain, Buttermilk, Copper Mountain, Crested Butte, Echo Mountain, Eldora, Howelson Hill, Loveland, Monarch Mountain, Powderhorn, Purgatory/Durango, Ski Cooper, Snowmass, Sol Vista Basin, Steamboat, Sunlight, Telluride, Winter Park, and Wolf Creek.

NOTE that Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone are NOT participating in the program this year and your 5th & 6th Grade Passports will NOT be valid at those resorts.
