A Look at the Week Ahead in Keystone

If you are thinking of visiting Keystone this week, you're in luck.  There are plenty of exciting activities and events to look forward to!

Tuesday August 2nd

Kid's Discovery Days features Patty Smith with a puppet show, a Balloon Artist, and Face Painting.   Explore fun at the Kids' Discovery Days, in the River Run Events Plaza. Watch a magic show, see zoo animals, or sing a-long with a musician. Dancin' in the Rockies Dance Series takes place from 7-8:30 pm at Warren Station.  Enjoy free beverages, grab your favorite dance partner and join us to learn a different dance style. Local dance instructors and performers will provide free lessons. All abilities, ages, and dance lovers are welcome! Each night, instructors and performers will showcase a different style.

Friday, August 5th

Children's Theater Production of The Red Cape On Friday mornings at the Quaking Aspen Amphitheatre,  you can check out this production by the Lake Dillon Theatre, named "Best Colorado Theatre West of Denver" by the Colorado Theatre Guild and "One of Colorado's Top Ten Theatres Outside Denver" by the Denver Post.   This is a high-quality, high-energy,high-altitude musical performance you won't want to miss.  Tickets are $6 general admission for parents, children, and all guests.  For information, contact 970.496.4FUN.

Friday Afternoon Club The fun of Friday Afternoon Club continues into the summer with FREE gondola rides from 3pm - sunset every Friday. Enjoy live music from Arnie J Green, while taking in the majestic scenery from the deck of the Summit House and chow down on some delicious BBQ.  Food and beverages will be available for purchase from our outdoor grill and BBQ.

Saturday, August 6th-Sunday, August 7th

2011 Beer and Bluegrass Festival For the 15th year Keystone brings the wonders of Appalachia to the Rockies. Down-home cooking, frothy flavors and mountain-music are just a piece of the pie. In a whirlwind of hillbilly luxuries, folks gather while more than 25 of Colorado's finest micobreweries showcase their unique blends of hops and barley. Live music on 3 stages. Kids Zone provides activities for the kids and the bounce house is open all day.
