Arapahoe Basin Ski Area - Learn to ride or ski guaranteed!

If you are new to Colorado and want to learn to Ski, or if you just moved to Summit County and want to figure out how to snow board or ski and want a Season Pass for the rest of the year then A Basin or Arapahoe Basin in the ski resort for you! Arapahoe Basin has a program designed for the new skier and snowboarder which will get you up on the mountain and they guarantee that you will be skiing or riding on your own after the program.

So how do they do it? What do you have to do in order to be guaranteed to learn how to ski? They put you in a full day lesson and teach you how to stand, turn, and most importantly how to stop without landing on your face! the ski school at Arapahoe basin is awesome. The group size is small, the terrain is amazing, the scenery is so nice that you can be distracted by the sheer beauty. After your first day you have 2 1/2 day follow up lessons to fine tune your turns, and move you from pizza pie skiing to making real turns.

After your third ski lesson you will be skiing or riding like a pro, ok they don't guarantee that at all but you will be skiing on your own, you will be confident enough to get on the ski lift with out any problems other than your friends pulling you down, you will have that happen for every. Then you will have a season pass to A Basin for the rest of the season which can run into July to keep up your newly learned ski skills. After this package you will look like this!
