Black Friday in the Mountains

It's not too late to spend your holiday weekend in the mountains.  Head up to Keystone for fresh snow, skiing or riding and all of the shopping deals you can handle.   There is snow in the forecast at Keystone Resort for Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with the most expected to fall on Saturday during the day. Open Snow. com is predicting 6 - 15 inches of new snow in Keystone this weekend.  There are currently 21 trails open, 10 lifts and 17% of terrain, with more expected to open over the next few days.   Head to the Silverthorne Outlets after your Turkey Dinner on Thursday evening for their 'Moonlight Madness' event to score some awesome doorbusters and get some great deals.  Doorbusters run through Saturday and include Loveland Day Lift Tickets, Silverthorne Rec Center Gift Bags, Columbia Blankets, and Le Creuset Juicers!  While you are there you can enter the raffle to win some of the bigger prizes, such as a 2019 Summer Season Pass to the Lake Dillon Theatre Company, a 1-night stay-cation at local resorts or even a $250 Silverthorne Outlets Gift Card! The Silverthorne Outlets will be open from 8pm - 12 am on Thursday night and 9am - 8pm on Friday and Saturday.  Of course you can hit up all of the big box stores too such as Target, Walmart or Bed, Bath & Beyond.   In Keystone, you can shop too.  There are a number of gift shops and stores in River Run Village or head to Mountain View Sports for souvenirs, new ski clothes and more.  On Saturday, shop small and visit some of the art galleries and shops in the area. Checkout the Cool Inside Gallery in Frisco, the Everything Colorado store in Dillon and the High Country Artisans shop at the outlet mall for some unique handcrafted gifts.   SummitCove is also hosting a Shop Small Business Saturday Sale.  Guests can book winter lodging starting at as low as $96 a night.  Sign up for the SummitCove newsletter at the bottom of our site to be including in our promotions list and find out the details on our Small Business Saturday Sale!   On Saturday, carve out time for the Welcome Winter Family Carnival, which features live music and fun activities for adults and kids! The best part is it is totally free to attend, with live music from Coral Creek.  Afterwards, head to River Run for free hot chocolate and the lighting of the holiday tree!   It's not too late to spend Thanksgiving or the weekend in the mountains!  Book a stay with SummitCove by tomorrow and you can save up to 20% on weekend lodging.  Call one of our vacation planners now or book online.
