Blades and Bluegrass at Keystone Ice Rink

This Wednesday, take part in a night of fun ice skating, live bluegrass music and pond hockey at the 'Blades and Bluegrass' event at Keystone's Lakeside Village Ice Rink.  Iron Horse, a bluegrass cover band from Killen, Alabama, will be rocking out some of their best original covers from bands like Modest Mouse, Guns N Roses, Led Zeppelin, The Shins, Metallica and Hank Williams.  Skate around and dance on ice, enjoy a cold (or hot!) beverage or take part in the Pond Hockey Tournament.  There will even be a mechanical bull on-site for adventure seekers!  This should be a fun filled evening, appropriate for all ages.  Added bonus: if you are staying in Lake Shore, Montezuma or Lakeside Condos, you should be able to hear the music right from your balcony!

Schedule of Events:

4:00pm – 7:00pm Music by Iron Horse
4:00pm – 4:30pm Pond Hockey Check-In
4:30pm – 7:00pm Pond Hockey Tournament!

Tournament Info:  Pond hockey games will be 5 vs 5.  There will be two rinks set up on the lake.  It will be a single elimination tournament with 4 teams.  If we get a strong registration response, we may increase the number of teams.

Registration Info:  Registration is $5 per person.  It includes entry fee, a beer, and a long sleeve logo tee.  Be sure to register early while there is still availability!  You can register as an entire team or as an individual (teams can be from 5 to 10 players max).  If you register as an individual, you will be assigned to a team.
