Keystone is a wonderful place to visit with your family over the holidays. In addition to great skiing and snowboarding, there are tons of other fun family-friendly events and activities scheduled for the holiday season. Here are just a few ideas for some fun things to do with your family during your visit.
Meet Santa
Santa will be around for most of December, with various appearances all over Keystone Resort. See him at the Kidtopia Headquarters, in Lakeside Village, or River Run. Kids will love getting the chance to tell Santa what they want for Christmas!
Chocolate Village
This is a must-scene during your Keystone holiday visit. Each December, the lobby at the Keystone Lodge hosts an incredible chocolate village, complete with a working gondola and running waterfalls. Every year the scene changes and you just won't believe that the entire village is made out of over 5,000 pounds of chocolate! Don't miss this - it's open 24 hours a day too!
Wednesday Winter Movie Matinees
Free movie matinees for the whole family start at 4pm at the Kidtopia Headquarters. December's lineup includes Anastasia, Elf, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Frozen!
Ice Skating
Keystone is home to two outdoor ice skating rinks! Checkout the smaller rink at Dercum Square in River Run or head to Lakeside Village for the 5 acre, zamboni-maintained rink, complete with a lighted holiday tree in the middle. Supports are available if you are new to the sport or a little unsure on your skates!

Snow Tubing & the Snow Fort
Atop Keystone's Dercum Mountain is Adventure Point - Keystone's downhill tubing zone! Reservations are recommended. On your way, check out the world's largest snowfort!
Family Game Nights on Mondays
On Monday nights, head to the Keystone Kidtopia Headquarters for family game night. Play in group bingo, start up a board game or challenge the fam to a friendly game of foosball during family game night from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.
